For each DBE subcontractor listed in the Bidders List, the bidder shall complete and submit the Letter of Intent with the bid proposal. Geotechnical Report o Question: Is the geotechnical report available for bidder s review? o Response: The geotechnical report has been posted to the ARC Planwell website and can be downloaded for review. The geotechnical report provided per GP Examination of plans, specifications, and site. Bid Schedule o Question: The bid item quantity of edge lights is 208. I count 208 new lights plus I count 26 replacement lights. How are these replacement lights paid for? o Response: Separate bid item added for the replacement LED edge lights in Addendum 1 Bid Schedule o Question: Can CAD files be provided for earthwork quantity? o Response: No CAD files will be provided during the bid period. The earthwork quantity is provided by phase with note added the plan sheet C-501. Plans Sheet E-302 Detail 1/302 o Question: Is it acceptable for the guidance sign bases to be precast? o Response: The guidance sign bases can be precast with approved shop drawing and stamp by Oregon Professional Engineer. Plans Sheet E-302 Lighted Sign Schedule and Proposal Bid Schedule o Question: The bid schedule, the plans and the sign schedule do not match. 16 Plans Sheet E-303 Lighted Windcone Relocation Detail 8/E-303 and Nonlit Windcone Assembly Detail 7/E-303 o Question: Can the wind cone foundation be precast? o Response: The wind cone foundations bases can be precast with approved shop drawings including bedding and granular backfill and stamped by Oregon Professional Engineer. Plans Sheet E-301 Detail 2/E-301 o Question: The specs talk about the light cans having threaded hubs but the detail in the plans shows grommeted hubs o Response: Grommeted hubs will be acceptable. Addendum 1 will revise the specifications L-115 to include grommeted hubs. Plans Sheet E-301 Detail 2/ E-301, Sheet E-302 Detail 1 E-302, and Sheet E-303 Detail 4 E-303 o Question: The specs say 3/4" x 10' ground rods. The plan details show 5/8" x 10' o Response: The plan detail will be revised in Addendum 1 for ¾ x 10 ground rod. Plans Sheet E-303 Detail 1/E-303 and Detail 3/E-303 o Question: Do the concrete duct banks require rebar? None shown on the detail in the plans. o Response: Duct banks do not require rebar as shown on the details. Plans Sheet E-303 Detail 4/E-303 o Question: Is there a detail for the adjustment of the existing pull boxes? How much of an elevation change? o Response: There are no elevation adjustments of existing pull boxes left in place. Plans Sheet E-303 Detail 4/E-303 o Question: Is there a detail of the existing pull boxes that get relocated or adjusted? o Response: No. Existing relocated pull boxes to be relocated horizontally and vertically. Backfill and granular base similar to new vault detail 4/ E-303 Grade of relocated vault is a function of the shoulder grading. Plans Sheets E-201, E-202, E-203, E-204, E-205 o Question: The plans show installing 2-3 way cans to feed signs, how are these paid? o Response: The 2-3 way cans shall be incidental to the signs with added plan notes and specifications measurement and payment descriptions in Addendum 1. Concrete base to be determined by shop drawing submittal dimensions.
