1 ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO: PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR: MISCELLANEOUS ROOF & EXTERIOR REPAIRS Lebanon Readiness Center Lebanon, Missouri Project No. T Bid Opening Date: September 4 th, 2014 (Unchanged) Bidders are hereby informed that the construction plans and/or specifications are modified as follows: Part I - General A. A Pre-Bid Meeting was held August 18 th, 2014 where John McNabb was introduced as the Designer, Chris Pritchard as the Project Manager, and Suzie DeVore as the Contract Specialist. A list of attendees is attached. Part - Modifications to the Plans and Specifications A. Manufacturer Substitutions: 1. Specifications Section Exterior Lighting: Lithonia is accepted as an alternative for all lighting fixtures. B. Specifications Section Table of Contents MBE/WBE/SDVE Good Faith Effort (GFE) a. Change number of pages to 5 2. DIVISION 3, Cast-in-place Concrete for Sitework a. Change specifications number from to Specifications Site Clearing, Excavation & Fill, Erosion and Sedimentation Controls a. Change the Specifications header to DIVISION 31 EARTHWORK 4. Specification Storm Utility Drainage Piping a. Change the specifications header to DIVISION 33 UTILITIES C. Specifications Section Excavation and Fill; section 4.B.1, delete If needed per the Owner s sole judgment from article. D. Drawing C-101 Civil Site Plan: 1. Add to Keynote 5: At the location of the culvert replacement, the asphalt overlay hatch is shown directly above the new culvert. This area will be required to be newly paved asphalt subject to the specifications included in the contract. The limits of the asphalt pavement in this area shall be revised to include the original 20 linear feet plus an extension to 3.0 feet north of the centerline of the proposed storm pipe along its entire length. 2. Change: Keynote 3: The asphalt under the existing awning shall be removed and replaced per the specifications included in the contract. Contractor shall protect awning and supports during construction activities. E. Drawing A-101 Roof Plan: 1. At Lower roof on west side of building; there are (4) existing 3 roof vent penetrations that are not shown on drawing. Provide roof coating around the (4) existing roof vent penetrations, similar to keynote 4. This work is to be included as part of Bid-Alternate #2. Page 1 of 2

Revised note pertaining to the panel shown: Approximate location of Drill Hall Panel (LP1). Route exterior lighting circuit to existing spare 120v 20 amp breaker. 3. Added detail 3/E-101 Lighting Control Detail. (See attached drawing ADD 1.2) 4. Revised Lighting Fixture Schedule to include site pole model number. (See attached drawing ADD 1.1) 5.
