Situated just off the A228, it is close to the River Medway, and about three miles from historic Rochester with its high-speed service to London. The rail journey to London St Pancras takes as little as 35 minutes, to London Bridge about 40 minutes and London Victoria in minutes. The City of London is approximately 35 miles away. Proximity to the A2/M2, minutes away by car, means uncomplicated journeys for drivers, whether heading for the Queen Elizabeth II crossing, M25, capital or coast. An exciting new chapter for Chattenden Four Elms Place heralds a bright new era for the village, and our wide choice of homes for all household sizes promises a balanced community. Importantly, Chattenden is already a well-served village, on bus routes and with four schools and two GP practices within about a mile of the development. The town also boasts Cyclopark, opened in 2012 to offer BMX cycling, skateboarding, running and extreme sports facilities, as well as Cascade Leisure Centre with its exhilarating water features. North Kent also has several Bluewater Rochester High Street English Heritage and National Trust properties. As for leisure shopping destinations, Bluewater is the outright winner south of the Queen Elizabeth II crossing, with rival Lakeside minutes away in Essex. Between them, the locations boast just about every popular retail name, including John Lewis, House of Fraser and IKEA.
