I organise and prepare the product, source furniture and props for the set, assist in preparation of concept documents for the client, draft minor set builds for construction and manage a cash float. Production Designer Film and television - Behind Mansion Walls, Deadly Women, Ad Nauseum, Light Touch. I worked as a freelance Production Designer for a range of independent feature and short films, TVCs and medium scale television productions. I was in charge in creating the physical environment suitable for the script. I liaised with a small art department team and also the Director and Cinematographer to ensure that a mutual vision was achieved. Roles and responsibilities included location scouting, set designing, prop sourcing, concept documents and budgeting documents. Buyer / Dresser / Runner Film and Television - Samsung, Pork, Around the Block, Red Inc.. Whilst working towards becoming a qualified Production Designer I took on numerous roles in the Art Department. These roles required me to have strong logistical and initiative skills to be able to source and prepare all props and dressing required for the shoot. 3 Five Bells, 1963, John Olsen FIVE BELLS For the Major Project at CATC in 2013 we were required to design a boutique hotel located in The Rocks, Sydney. The building was a mixed heritage and contemporary structure. Inspiration from John Olsen s famous painting Five Bells painted in 1967, influenced the concpet for the project, which also became the hotel s namesake. Form, colour and energy were translated into the hotel s aesthetic.the final product was one that was to be as immersive as the beautiful painting itself. Reception and Lounge Public and Hotel Bar

6 MUSEUM OF THE SENSES Sight, hearing, smelling, and touch are the sensory modalities that play a dominating role in spatial perceptions in humans. Panagiotis Hadjiphilippou This assessment was explored over 1 semester, 2nd year study, Preliminary experimentation was explored through spatial model making and communicate an experience of the five human senses. Using the findings and research for the final assessment, we were to choose 5 artworks to be exhibited within a museum that spatially conveys a sensory experience. The artworks I chose required space and scale therefore height and light were the parameters for my space. The visitors experience of large scale artworks within a large open space induced there own spatial awareness. 8 THE BIRD CAGE Flemington race way is home to the Melbourne Cup Carnival s and an exclusive marquee enclosure. As part of the Experience Design, 2nd year, requirements was to design a branded marquee for the event. My brand was the prestigious airline Emirates. Research of the brand s identity, market, future plans and projects inspired the experiential design for the marquee. To differ from the design of previous years, which were inspired from around the globe, my concept was to look at their own beautiful landscape and the oasis s that lie within the United Arab Emirates. Ultimately a fresh, youthful and entertaining space was created. 10 CAFE CO. The assessment for Studio 3 in 2014 was to design a commercial interior fit out for an imagined company. In this instance the brand was Cafe Co. A franchise company with three retail outlets; Aroma, Muffins R Us and Rise Bakehouse. The family run business wanted to create a space that was comfortable and inspiring for workers whilst also being accessible for prospective clients. Cafe Co. was a brand that identified with being a honest, humble, open, clean, green and sophisticated brand. The concept Inside Out was created to create a transparency to the business s core values and ethics but also a respect to the environment in which their fresh produce is harvested.
