Failure to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification. This Addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies them as follows: GENERAL: The date for receipt of bids has been changed from a date to be determined to Wednesday, September 02, 2015 at 2pm. Bids will be received by Birmingham City Schools at the office of Edward McMullen, Director of Purchasing, 2015 Park Place North, room 202 CLARIFICATION: Question: Will you let me know if a gate is required for the fence that replaced the composite fencing? If so will the gate be rolling or swing? Response: Not required. Question: We requested information on the air piping & systems components (e.g. filter regulator, brass female coupler, etc.) referenced in Drawing Keynotes 1 4. Addendum 3 answered the part about the piping, but they still did not provide specifications for the components (filter regulator, brass female coupler, ball valves, flexible connector, etc.) in keynotes 1 4. Please provide the needed information. Response: Keynote 2 the new filter regulator, gauge, and water drain shall match the existing (field coordinate with existing equipment) HA 1405 ADDENDUM NO. 7 PAGE 1 of 4

2 Keynote 3 the brass female connector to be quick release type. Provide compatible male connector and flexible, braided stainless steel hose for connection to the existing equipment. Field coordinate hose length with existing equipment. Keynote 4 Provide compatible male connector and flexible, braided stainless steel hose for connection to the existing equipment. Field coordinate hose length with existing equipment. DRAWINGS: Architectural SHEET AS 003: New Work: Site Plan 1. Delete detail C1 New Brick 1 st North Alt #1 in its entirety and replace with new detail per attached sketch A SK1 dated Mechanical SHEET M 201B: Maintenance Floor Plan 1. Provide an inline exhaust fan (equal to Cook DBX 8; 920 cfm; 1/4hp motor; 0.4 ESP; accessories: backdraft damper, belt guard, insulated housing, vibration isolators) located above the ceiling of the IBS Room with an exhaust grille (EG1) located above the air compressor in the Carpentry Shop with a 16x14 duct connected to the exhaust fan; the exhaust fan to connect to a 16x14 duct and extend to a 16x16 exhaust louver (equal to Ruskin ELF6375). Provide a transfer grille (RG2) near the south wall of the Carpentry Shop connected a 24x8 duct. 24x8 duct to be located in the above ceiling plenum space, extend over the south wall of the Carpentry shop, turn west similar to detail 8/M 002. Interlock the operation (start/stop) with RTU 1B s occupancy schedule. Electrical SHEET E 002: Lighting Fixture Schedule 1. Add Fixture S2 to the fixture schedule. Fixture shall be a surface mounted fluorescent fixture with 1 lamp, 277 Volt, 0 degree ballast, and a vandal resistant housing. Provide remote battery pack to operate lamp in fixture. Color to be selected by the architect. VISA #OW1345 1FS54 ** VR ELR or Approved Equal by Kennall. 2. Add Fixture FL1 to the fixture schedule. Fixture shall be a ground stanchion mounted flood light with 1 lamp, high power factor ballast, wide distribution, with barn doors. Fixture shall be UL listed for wet location. KIM #AFL11 100PMH DB HDS SM18 BD or Approved Equal by Hydrel and Gardco. 3. Add directional chevron pointing towards Corridor B.4 to exit sign at the intersection of Corridor B.3 and B Add Exit Sign X2 at north end of Corridor B.3 adjacent to Fixture R8. 3.
