1 COUER D ALENE CITY HALL PROJECT NO REMODEL AND ADDITION COEUR D ALENE, IDAHO ADDENDUM NO. 1 November 10, 2016 This addendum is hereby incorporated into and is an integral part of the bidding documents for the COEUR D ALENE CITY HALL REMODEL AND ADDITION, COEUR D ALENE, IDAHO, dated OCTOBER 25, The clarifications, changes, approvals, etc mentioned herein shall also become an integral and binding part of any contract entered into between the Owner and the successful bidder. References made below to Specifications and Drawings shall be used as a general guide only. Bidder shall determine the work affected by Addendum items. ARCHITECTURAL: CLARIFICATIONS: ITEM 3: ITEM 4: ITEM 5: ITEM 6: Weather resistant barrier shown in details shall be new. It is assumed that any existing weather barrier will be damaged when siding is removed. Weather resistant barrier associated with add alternates to be included in add alternate price. TV s noted on plans and any associated mounting brackets shall be provided by Owner Owner shall contract separately for special inspection services. Owner will move furniture, file cabinets and computers as required in areas under construction. Contractor to coordinate with owner. Provide advanced notice and factor time into construction schedule. Asbestos is present in the building in the mastic under existing VCT flooring. Owner will contract separately with an asbestos abatement contractor for removal of VCT and mastic where required. Contract to coordinate with Owner s abatement contractor as required during construction and to include line items in the contract schedule for abatement activities. Refer to attached Asbestos report for reference. There are no Liquidated Damages on this project. SPECIFICATIONS: SECTION OTHER CONDITIONS 1.4.A.4 I.C : Delete reference to wage scale Federal Funds. Davis-Bacon Wage rates do not apply to this project. SECTION ALTERNATES SCHEDULE OF ALTERNATES: A. Add the following to Add Alternate No. 1: Allowance No. 1 for plywood replacement shall be included in price for Alternate No. 1. Provide and install new weather resistant barrier.
