1 Addendum Number Four To The Drawings and Specifications for Pleasant Valley Elementary School Wichita, Kansas Issued: Wednesday Wichita Unified School District # 259 Project No HANNEY & ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS 1726 South Hillside, Wichita, Kansas NOTICE TO BIDDERS You are hereby instructed to include in your bids the following changes and/or corrections to the Drawings and Specifications for the Pleasant Valley Elementary School Addition/Renovations in Wichita, Kansas. The additions and/or corrections shall be considered as a part of the Contract Documents as if incorporated therein. Where the following corrections and/or additions vary from the conditions of the Drawings and Specifications, such following changes or additions shall govern. I. GENERAL CLARIFICATIONS: 1.1 The Bid Date has changed to October 4, The time and place will remain the same. 1.2 Please check our web site for current plan holder s lists and downloadable addendum information including addendum-issued drawings and documents. via the information on current bid packages link. 1.3 Products or manufacturers approved as Equals shall meet all requirements of the plans, specifications, standards of performance and construction as established by the product or manufacturer originally specified. 1.4 Coordinate existing chiller removal with USD 259. Provide 72 hours notice prior to removal, coordinate as necessary. II. CHANGES TO THE SPECIFICATIONS: 2.1 Section 15620: This section shall be replaced with the attached specification section for Boilers. 2.2 Section 15665: The attached specification section for Air-Cooled Chillers shall become a part of the contract documents for this project. 2.3 Section A: Add Twin City to the list of Approved Manufacturers of Fans. 2.4 Section 15840: Greenheck is approved for wall louvers Kruse Corporation is approved for spiral ductwork. 2 2.5 Section 15900: Remove any reference to year 2000 compliance The control system for this project shall be an extension of the existing system serving the facility. Acceptable manufacturers are Sandifer Engineering and Controls (CSI) Remove new computer, printer, factory training from specifications. III. CHANGES TO THE DRAWINGS: 3.1 General: Salvage rights are to be provided to the owner on all removed equipment from the project. 3.2 MD1.1: All existing cabinet unit heaters are to be abandoned in place. Cap steam/condensate piping airtight. 3.3 MD1.2: Refer to attached 8½ x11 sheet. 3.4 M1.1: Refer to attached 8½ x11 sheet. 3.5 M1.2: Refer to attached 8½ x11 sheet. 3.6 M1.3: Refer to attached 8½ x11 sheet. 3.7 M2.1: Refer to attached 24 x36 sheet. 3.8 M2.2: Refer to attached 24 x36 sheet. 3.9 M2.3: Refer to attached 8½ x11 sheet M3.1: Install Chiller control panel on North Side of chiller.
