By signing the Bid Form the Bidder acknowledges that it has made itself aware of every addendum issued and on file for this project and has incorporated the requirements of all addenda within the bid for the work. QUESTIONS Item # Q: Q: Q: Question/Answer Refer to the Door schedule on A2.10R; the Courtroom Entry doors #211A is indicated as door type C (detention H.M. door). Please confirm the door type is wrong and should be the same as door #111A. Revise #211A from "C" to "K". Door type is wrong and should be the same as door #111A. Refer to the Door schedule on A2.10R; the Courtroom Entry doors #221A and #231A do not require STC 35 but the other Courtroom Entry doors #111A and #241A require a STC 35. Please confirm if the Courtroom Entry doors should have STC 35 or not. Revise doors 111A, 211A, 221A, 231A, and 241A STC Q: Refer to the Door schedule on A2.10R; the frame material for the door #240D is H.M. but the details 56/A2.14R show wood frame. Please clarify. Frame type is to be wood. Details 5 to 6/A2.14 are correct. See revised sketches ASK0034 and ASK0035 for reference. Referencing Mechanical plans, are the 3 lined vav attenuators only needed where shown on the plans? Please advise. There is a VAV detail M6.04 where shown on plans, lining is required, in some cases we have sound attenuators down stream of the vav box, so there is no 3 ft lining Q: Referencing spec section , Is fibrousglass duct liner acceptable on this project? Q: Fibrousglass duct liner is not acceptable Q: Q: Please clarify casework in Room 038, Exhibit Storage no reference to casework drawing, no elevation for casework on one wall. The storage casework areas are a floor standing prefabricated metal shelving to be securely attached to wall, see sketches under this addendum. Please clarify casework in Room 043, Storage floor plan appears to show shelving on north and east walls but elevations on A5.03R and 8.10R are unclear Please see sketches under this addendum Q: Q: Rm. 202, Research Center elevation 11/A5.12R has note 6 for casework please provide detail reference Any casework shown in this room has been deleted and is now considered FF&E, see sketches under this addendum. ASK0193 in Addendum #3 has been revised to include a reference to detail 9/A2.71. There is no detail 9 on A2.71 please clarify Please see ASK0067 provided in the addendum set, for the new detail added 9/A2.71 Elevation 3/A8.13R indicates note 2 "plastic laminate casework, wood finish" at interior of Security Screening Are there cabinets in this location? 4 5.064 Q: The plastic laminate note for 3/A8.13R is referring to the faux wood plastic laminate PL1 in the schedule. Elevation 2/A5.11R is showing detail 15/A2.70 for the docket shelf what is the solid surface finish at this location? The solid surface finish at the docket shelf is Pentalquarts, refer to finish schedule SS Q: CT1.11 Keynote 9, Counsel Table. Please confirm these are Owner FF&E? Q: Q: These tables are part of the millwork contract. Please reference updated drawings under this addendum. Counsel tables, baliff station, lectern, and court reporter desk typical in each courtroom are all millwork items under this contract. Refer to the elevation 1/A5.07R, it seems to have a wood plank at the soffit (wood hatch) but it is not shown in the referred detail 10/A8.32. Can we assume that this plank is the same material as the public counter below? (3/4 plywood with veneer finish per section 5/A8.32R) Correct. Refer to drawing A1.21R in Law Library room 270. There is an item shown on the south wall. Please clarify if it is Furniture by others or supply by millworker. If is by millwork contractor please provide detail and finishes for this item. Furniture by others Q: Spec Section covers the requirements of BIM coordination on the project. This section also summarizing the systems and components to be modeled in the 3D Geometric Coordination. In review of the individual specification sections of the systems that s illustrated in Spec Section , these individual specification sections do not reference Section nor do they illustrate these systems to be model in 3D. Please confirm whether are not the systems (Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection) and other elements (Architectural, Structural and Building Management System) should be modeled in accordance with Spec Section , and if so, what individual Specification Sections should be reference back to Section for 3D coordination and BIM efforts. Those items identified within , 3.5 for 3D modeling and BIM coordination shall be provided. Omission of reference in related spec sections does not relieve a trade from inclusion in the requirements set forth by 3.5. When an individual specification section is in conflict with , Division 1 shall take precedence Q: Ref: Sheet A6.02. Keynote 14 identifies brushed aluminum panels. The plans still call out Details 16 & 17/S2.13 at these connections. Where are the new Details 18 & 19 to be used? Are they an alternate to details 16 & 17? Refer to the Room Finish schedule on A2.02R, room 103; The ceiling material is indicated C6 Acoustical plaster, but the RCP plan A3.11R indicates wood ceiling system (Keynote 7). Please clarify if the Finish schedule supersedes the drawing. The ceilings were modified in addendum #3. Refer to the Room Finish schedule on A2.02R, room 109; the ceiling material is C1F, C2C, C4 Gypsum, acoustical tile and metal panel, but the RCP plans A3.11R and A3.12R indicate wood ceiling system. Please clarify if the Finish schedule supersedes the drawings. Answered in Addendum #4. Refer to the Room Finish schedule on A2.02R, room 244; the ceiling material is C1A, C4 Gypsum and metal panel, but the RCP plans A3.21R and A3.22R indicate wood ceiling system (Keynote 7). Please clarify if the Finish schedule supersedes the drawing. Answered in Addendum #4.
