The Timers lised below canno be direcly urned ON and OFF by using an AC -wire proximiy sensor o urn he Timer's power ON and OFF. Use he following counermeasure when using an AC -wire proximiy sensor wih he Timer. (The power circui in he Timer uses half-wave recificaion. Only a half AC wave is supplied o he proximiy sensor, which may cause operaion o be unsable.) Applicable Models H3Y, H3YN, H3RN, H3CA-8, RDP, and H3CR(-A, -A8, -AP, -F, and -G) Counermeasure Wire hrough a relay and use he relay conacs o urn he power ON and OFF. When swiching a DC load, conac ransfer may cause he conacs o sick or may cause conac failure. Confirm applicabiliy and consider using a surge absorbing elemen. When swiching a high frequencies, hea generaed by arcing may cause conacs o mel or may cause meal corrosion. Consider connecing an arc absorbing elemen, reducing he swiching frequency, or lowering he humidiy. The surge curren depends on he ype of load, which also affecs conac swiching frequency and he number of operaions.
