Ths rgulators ar spcifically dsignd for low voltag applications that rquir a low dropout voltag and a fast transint rspons. Thy ar fully fault protctd against ovr-currnt, rvrs battry, and positiv and ngativ voltag transints. On-Chip trimming adjusts th rfrnc voltag to 1% initial accuracy. Thrmal Considrations lthough th SPX29300/01/02/03 offrs limiting circuitry for ovrload conditions, it is still ncssary to insur that th maximum junction tmpratur is not xcdd in th application. Hat will flow through th lowst rsistanc path, th junction-to-cas path. In ordr to insur th bst thrmal flow of th componnt, propr mounting is rquird. Th rlationship btwn th rsistors is: R1 = R2(Vout/ ). Error Flag Th SPX29301/03 faturs an rror flag that indicats ithr an ovr currnt or undr voltag condition. Th flag output gos low, sinking 10m whn ithr condition occurs. Enabl Input Th SPX29301/02 hav an Enabl function that switchs th rgulator on and off. Thir thrsholds ar TTL compatibl.
