Big thanks for a wonderful Christmas Party put together by Terrie and her committee! For the last few months we have been selling raffle tickets as our fall fundraiser. The winning tickets were drawn at the Christmas party and here is a photo of Debbi Crook winning the gorgeous chair painted by Dianne Case congratulations Debbi! 4 February Workshop by Pegi Roberts UPCOMING WORKSHOPS PROJECT SNEAK PEEK March April May Thank you all for signing up for the February workshop MAMA GIRAFFE AND BABY - design by Lydia Steeves - taught with permission by Pegi Roberts Here are the supplies you will need to bring to class. Denim jacket or another fabric item of your choosing - prewashed. DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER OR FABRIC SHEET WHEN DRYING. If you choose to not use a denim jacket, your chosen item should not have too much "give" (no T-shirts), need special laundering, nor have an incompatble background (we will not be paintng any background colors). A sturdy piece of unwrinkled cardboard or foam board sized to ft under your surface. All paints will be supplied. Usual paintng supplies including tracing paper both white and graphite. medium and fne stylus Although I antcipate we will fnish In class, please bring some small paint pots for take home, just in case. 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" angle brushes #8 flbert #1 liner 10/0 liner 1/2" lunar blender, crescent, or dome brush for dry brushing. 1/4" mop #1 round flbert grass comb (if you have one) These are the brushes Lydia used. Your choices might be slightly diference. I fnd that an older brush, that I don't mind abusing works, well on larger areas of fabric. *Special note - the design is approximately 10 X 14. You can paint this on an appropriate size canvas or other surface. Most of the paints we will be using are regular acrylic paints with textle medium added. However, please have your background completed in a complimentary color. WE WILL NOT BE PAINTING ANY BACKGROUND. If you have any questons, do not hesitate to me at pegirob5@hotmail.com
