1 STITCHIN MEMORIES Spring is Here and summer is close behind! Finally the weather we all were waiting for has arrived! Beautiful blue skies, green trees and glorious brightly colored flowers! I hope you are enjoying it as much as we are. Opening our shop in Emory has created many changes for us...lots of work; updating inventory; setting up Classes, BOM s and of course, meeting great new people! Thank you for your support and warm welcome! You have made the move so much easier for us and we hope that with your feedback our shop will provide the products and events that will keep you coming back and keep us here in Emory for a long time to come! Any and all feedback will be considered so if you have ideas on classes, products or events we will be glad to hear it! Let us know and we will look into it. Our website is up and we are loading new product slowly! Check out the Calendar online classes and events are listed! New fabrics are arriving: Batiks, Civil War, 30s, Landscape, Florals. So if you haven t been in recently there is more product to tempt and inspire! New Notions: Creative Grid Rulers, Less Than Traditional Templates and rulers. We re ordering more weekly so if you have a special order we will include it when our order is put through. Special Orders require 50% down. Class Policy: Pre-registration is required for all classes. If you must cancel notification must be made at least 8 days in advance to receive a refund. Supplies bought for the class will be given a 15% discount. CLASSES: Ribbon Embroidery Carolyn Tosh $20 May 8th 10am-2pm

Less Than Traditional Carolyn Tosh $35 May 14 th 10a.m. Learn a great technique to create a fast and easy Cathedral Window quilt that is quilted as the block is pieced! Make a Placemat, Table Runner, Wall Hanging or Quilt! All sizes are created in the same manner. Goose Chase Log Cabin Bettie Hammock $30 10a.m. 4-6 min. May 15 th Learn paper piecing from an expert! Bettie will show you how to piece this 19 x19 mini Log Cabin Stack & Whack Janice Whitt 10a.m. $20 May 20 th Every block is a surprise! Use one focus fabric and one accent fabric to create this unique and easy quilt! Book is required. Beginning Quilting Cindy 6pm-8pm (6 weeks) May 20 th $25 Starting with the basics learn Rotary Cutting and how to measure. Learn different quilt block techniques each week including Log Cabin, Spool, Flying Geese and even appliqué while creating this Sampler Quilt!

3 Landscaping Made Easy Barbara Booth $35 May 22 nd 10a.m.-4p.m. Use your favorite photo for inspiration and let Barbara show you how to create your own unique wall hanging while teaching you perspective utilizing Fat Qtr. Fabrics, Steam a- Seam Lite and your imagination! Sew Unique Bagzgirl Bag Class Raquel Muller May 29 th 10a.m. $25 Another unique creation as taught by Raquel! If you love one-of-a-kind Bags you will love this Monthly Bag Class! Raquel always shows you a different twist in combining fabrics. Kits will be available. Scrap Tease Bettie Hammock $ min. Bettie has designed a beautiful quilt pattern that will let you use those scraps from your stash! If you haven t taken a class from Bettie now is your chance! Get her tips and tricks on coordinating those scraps to make your own unique quilt. Creative Machine Quilting Jackie Brown June 19 th $35 10a.m. (6 min) If you missed Jackie s last class because it was during the week we have it set for a Saturday! Learn how to mark and quilt a pillowtop or table runner using Jackie s original designs!

4 Trapunto Jackie Brown June 25 th $35 10a.m. (6min) Yes, it may look complicated but Jackie will show you just how simple it can be to create this beautiful technique if you follow her tips and tricks. It is always fun to learn a new technique and in this class you will be learning from an expert. This class will fill up fast. Block of the Months: American Beauty May 15 th 3p.m. Cindy Callentine American Beauty uses Maywood Wild Rose fabrics for this beautiful on point 12 Month Block of the Month quilt. Available in two colorways this Sampler quilt is sashed with Stars! Pick up your Kit and join Cindy as she demonstrates how to cut and assemble the first month s block. Quilt is 84 x 104 Lovebird Lane Pre-register Now! This 6 month Birdhouse appliqué quilt uses Maywood fabrics to create a soft and whimsical quilt that is made up of 9 different birdhouse blocks. With it s pretty and delicate florals you will think it is Spring every time you work on a block! Starts May 25th. On Point We were asked to start this BOM quilt again so here it is! On Point is a 9 month BOM created in Reds, Green and White. Starts in June.
