Star Lit Sky 1. Cut two 5½ x 21 Dark Blue Spot.

Follow Y seam technique Eazy Peazy Patchwork Plus

From these strips cut 10 Dresden Plate sections.

Using Circle Acrylic, cut 3 semi circle in card.

Pin Dresden Plate semi circle to sky, Cover centre

Appliqué moon and stars in place once sky strip is

3 Star Lit Sky 1. Cut two 5½ x 21 Dark Blue Spot. Join strips to make long strip. Trim strip to 36½ length. 2. Cut 1½ x 12 Orange Spots. From this strip cut six diamonds. 3. Join diamonds in pairs. Follow Y seam technique Eazy Peazy Patchwork Plus 2 (Tumbling Blocks) and join together to form star. Press seams open and flat 4. Make another with different fabric. 5. Cut one 3½ x 12 strip Orange Stripe. Repeat with Yellow Spot. From these strips cut 10 Dresden Plate sections. Follow Eazy Peazy Patchwork Plus 2 (Grandmother s Fan). 6. Join sections together to make semi-circle. 7. Using Circle Acrylic, cut 3 semi circle in card. Cut fabric ¼ larger, tack fabric to card. 8. Pin Dresden Plate semi circle to sky, Cover centre with card. Pin layers well. Appliqué moon and stars in place once sky strip is sewn to Flying Geese. Flying Geese Twenty-eight 3 squares Dark Blue Fourteen 5½ x 3 rectangles assorted colours 1. Follow page 95 Foldy Rolly Patchwork Pzzazz and make fourteen sections. Sew seven sections together. Repeat with remaining sections. 2. Check measurement of strips - it should be 18! 1

Re-measure the strip length - it should now be 36½!

Three 2 x 21 Light Purple Three 2 x 21 Mid Blue 1.

Press seam open. 2. Lay two strips R/S together.

Working from this cut end, cut 2½ sections.

Fold remaining strip in half and repeat - nine sections are

4 3. Cut one 1½ x 5½ Dark Blue. Join both Flying Geese sections with this strip. Re-measure the strip length - it should now be 36½! Sunset Strip! Three 2 x 21 Light Purple Three 2 x 21 Mid Blue 1. Join one of each colour to make striped band. Press seam open. 2. Lay two strips R/S together. Place 60º diamond on top, cut along edge of template. 3. Working from this cut end, cut 2½ sections. Cut both layers at same time. Fold remaining strip in half and repeat - nine sections are required. 4. Sew two sections together to make chevron. Join nine chevrons to make long band. Press seams open and flat. 5. Trim sides of strip level. Delectable Mountains Two 8 x 21 Pink Spot Two 8 x 21 Turquoise 1. Use Eazy Angle and cut three 8 triangles from the above strips. 2. Join one of each colour to make a square. Make six squares in total. Press seam open and flat. 3. Take two squares, place R/S together matching colours. Cut into four 2 x 8 strips. 2

Sew mountain sections together to form strip -

Repeat with other side. 6. Repeat with remaining four squares to make two more mountains. Don t join both halves of mountain at this point. Sew Strips Together 1. Lay all sections on flat surface. Decide on shape of mountains. 2. Sew mountain sections together to form strip - it should measure 36½ in length! 3. Sew all four bands together to make first section of quilt. 4. Appliqué stars in place - use satin stitch or other relevant stitch. (Fusible web on back of star helps if machine sewing.) 5. Roll back edges of Flying Geese and sew in place. 6.
