Come visit us either day and see what s new from Houston Quilt Market and check out some great samples made with the latest patterns and scrumptious new fabrics! Food and drink will be served, and much more! Dash those winter blues in the new year by taking a class from us! Our class samples will be on display, too!

2 Tree Skirt Bears at Play Winter Song Cutwork Table Runner IMPORTANT CLASS REGISTRATION POLICY In order to participate in classes, you MUST pre-register no later than one week before day of class. We also need you to please pay class fee in advance. CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation one week prior to class,full refund or option to participate in alternate class; cancellation within three days in advance, no refund but option to participate in another class; less than three days, forfeiture of class fees. No refunds or alternative options apply to BOM classes. If we must cancel a class, you will have the option of a refund or taking another class. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Teacher: Staff This is a day when you can come and work on your UFOs (UnFinished Objects). We will help you with your projects and give advice. It s informal and fun, so bring a lunch or buy, and come join us! First Monday of each month, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. v Class $15.00 Cutwork Table Runner Learn machine embroidery cutwork on this beautiful table runner. You choose the size to fit your table. One five-hour session. Thursday, December 10th, (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) v Class $25.00, plus Thomas Kincade Tree Skirt Use the Thomas Kincade panel to make either a table topper or Christmas tree skirt. This is beautifully embellished with embroidery and/or lots of hot-set crystals. Tuesday, December 15th. 9:00 a.m. - Noon v Class $15, plus Bears at Play Those bears are at it again! This quilt features a new bear panel along with bearpaws, flying geese, checkerboard, and a neat border. Three session class. Starts Thursday, January 7th, 9:00 a.m. - Noon v Class $45.00, plus Winter Song This wallhanging is made using Moda s Winter Song panel. A great accent for winter decorating. One all-day class. Friday, January 8th, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. v Class $25.00, plus BOM This is a Block-of-the-Month Square-in-a- Square sampler quilt whose block names will really make you smile. You choose your fabrics - I am using our new line of batiks - to make it wild or tame, bold or subtle, it will be uniquely yours! Second Monday or Tuesday, starting January 11th or 12th, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or Tuesday the 12th at 5:00 p.m. v Class $15.00 each session, plus Split Nine Patch Teacher: Lottie Beasley Fast and easy nine patch quilt can be done using three colors or scrappy. Good beginner quilt with minimal cutting required. Can use Layer Cake, Charm Packs or fat quarters. One Layer Cake yields 51" square finished quilt. 3 Split Nine Patch Wacky Stars Eureka! Walk About Square-in-a-Square Wacky Stars This quirky quilt adds two different triangles to an eight piece Stack N Whack. The extra triangles form another star as the blocks are sewn together. One all day class. Monday, January 18th, 9:00 a.m. - Thimbleberries (Finish) Assembly of the Thimbleberries 3 s Company quilt blocks and borders. All day class. Thursday, January 21st, 9:00 a.m. - Eureka! BOM This quilt features twelve fabrics and eight blocks. It looks very difficult yet is actually fairly simple. Learn one block each month for eight months and then we ll put it all together. Fourth Monday of each month. Starts Monday, January 25th, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. v Each Session $15.00, plus Split Nine Patch (Finish) Teacher: Lottie Beasley You ve finished making the blocks, and now Lottie will show you how to measure and add colorful borders. Learn to layer and pin properly for quilting. Tuesday, January 26th, 9:00 a.m. - Noon v Class $15.00, plus Walk About This quilt features a large print block surrounded by Flying Geese. Simple to make, yet very stunning. One all day class. Tuesday, February 2nd, 9:00 a.m. - Free Motion Quilting Basics Teacher: NancyLynn Sharpless Learn how to set up your machine, as well as stipple, loop-d-loop and more free motion techniques. One all-day class. Thursday, February 4th, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. v Class $25.00 Hand Smocking Beautiful hand-stitched smocking is perfect for babies, childrens, or ladies clothing. Learn how to use pleater and make basic smocking stitches. See samples at store. Friday, February 5th, 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. v Class $15.00 Square-in-a-Square BOM Teacher: Shirley Hummel Learn the easy way to do triangles - no sewing or cutting triangles - speed and accuracy is our goal. We will make a different block each month for eight months, then put it all together. First Saturday each month. Starts Saturday, February 6th, 9:00 a.m. - Noon v $15.00 per session, plus Rag Quilt Back by popular demand, this quiltas-you-go throw-sized quilt is perfect on cold winter nights. Great for beginners or advanced, and can be FINISHED in just one day!!! One allday class. Tuesday, February 16th, 9:00 a.m. - Mirage This is a new Bargello quilt which uses multiple strip sets to create the mirror image effect. Two sessions. Friday, February 19th & March 19th, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. v Class $30.00, plus we repair all makes and models of sewing machines

Learn some easy ways to do this yourself with cross-hatch quilting using your walking foot, or try some free motion techniques. Cut your own from strips, or use Honey Buns - you ll love it! Pattern included. All day class. Friday, February 26th, 9:00 a.m. - Irish Rose Break out your embroidery hoop and stitch up some beautiful roses! Combine these with the traditional Irish Chain and create this stunning quilt. Two sessions. Tuesday, March 2nd & 30th, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.v Class $30.00, plus Quilted Jacket This quilted jacket has a flattering cut and can be made from Layer Cakes, fat quarters, Jelly Rolls, or yardage.
