I went to Disneyland, spent time at the beach and went movies all with my grandkids. y grow up so fast! Baske I hope you have visited the shop recently and enjoyed the changes we did in July. Our classroom is not only larger but also completely enclosed with a door. Our biggest change is our new floors.i love it. staff did a fabulous job before, during and after the remodeling. A big thank you to Carol, who works tirelessly. We re not done yet; I have a few more changes in the next few months. We have new classes and new teachers to help you create your special project. Watch for the BERNINA E16, a Multi-Needle embroidery machine, WOW!!! It really is a WOW; wait till you see the needles move. We should have our floor model late September. A new BERNINA OVERLOCKER L220 will be here soon, it will do a coverstitch and chainstitch. New fabrics are coming daily and what fun they are, sewers are having fun doing quilts, clothing and craft projects. I am having a great time finding and ordering different textiles for you to make your various projects. We are seeing a wide variety of quilts and bags; let s not forget the embroidery projects. You must ask the Sewing Room staff to show you all the interesting sewing projects they are doing in the various classes and clubs. Class one will involve creating the bow ties, class 2 will show how to make the buttons and put it all together. $ sessions 2 hours Friday, October 10, Machine Binding Pam Varner Learn the difference between straight and bias binding and when to use it. Learn an easy method of piecing binding strips for perfect alignment. Sew the front on by machine and measure your binding for a perfect fit every time. Learn how to miter the corners and then sew the binding back by hand OR learn an easy way to machine finish for a fast and easy binding.
