Students are taught hw t create the bdy and cap f this bttle, assemble the parts and then prduce an engineering drawing. Within the cntext f a sprts drink bttle fr an athlete, this material teaches yu hw t use Pr/ENGINEER t create and assemble cmpnents and prduce an engineering drawing. The finished mdel can be manufactured using CNC r RP equipment. Wherever pssible students shuld have the pprtunity t make and test their designs. During these tutrials users will learn hw t create parts and assemblies within Pr/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0, and explre the D&T activities that are invlved in the prduct design prcess This tutrial and teacher resurce has been prduced by PTC and in supprt f the PTC Design & Technlgy in Schls prgramme. While this tutrial can be used with ther Pr ENGINEER start parts there may be changes required in terms f view rientatin, datum plane and crdinate system references etc. This tutrial requires n previus mdelling experience in Pr ENGINEER, hwever the user shuld be able t navigate the Pr ENGINEER Wildfire user Interface. Users nt part f this prgramme can still use this tutrial but may need t adapt either their Pr ENGINEER cnfiguratin files r the directry structure used in the tutrial. Please ensure yu have the required materials (LDPE..mat r LDPE.mtl) in the material library flder within pr_standards.
