6 Mesurement Turning DISKUS IONIC CONTROL THE PROCESS FOR 100% SECURITY To ensure consistent mchining results nd cycle times the DISKUS DFine is equipped with the IONIC mesurement control. The in-house DISKUS development mesures 100% of the mchined workpieces nd communictes constntly with the mchine control during opertion. For doule-sided grinding, the DISKUS DFine is equipped with single, doule or multiple gripper depending on the mchine design. This turns components in etremely quickly nd supplies them into the work chmer gin. Dressing Whenever there re devitions in tolernce t the workpiece, which could e due to grinding wheel wer, for emple, the IONIC mesurement control issues commnd to dpt the grinding process to the mchine control. This wy, the mesuring system gurntees mimum process reliility nd precision. The grinding wheel is dressed y mens of workpiece-specific dressing wheel which is loded into the work chmer vi the chnging gripper.
