If not, e sure to note the differences in height nd/or width, nd djust lyout ccordingly. Fix ny irregulrities on the surfce of your instlltion re tht would ffect how the tiles ly. 11 ARK CHEVRON / HORIZONTAL PREPARATION STEP 6 In prep for outlets, light switches, etc., rrnge ny other rows of tiles on the floor tht will require dditionl cuts, tking cre to mrk ny outlets nd define initil cuts once level; plese see specil instructions for instlling mouldings. Anticipte finl row might need to e trimmed to fit s well. TRIM TOOLS: RULER JIGSAW AND DRILL MITER SAW OR TABLE SAW 11

12 ARK CHEVRON / HORIZONTAL FASTENING STEP 7 To instll HORIZONTALLY, egin in either TOP LEFT corner or BOTTOM LEFT corner s long s the hrdord ck pnel is fcing the direction of the instll. 13 ARK CHEVRON / HORIZONTAL FASTENING STEP 8 Cut ny excess t off the wll tile in order to e flush with the edge of the wll nd ensure proper coverge. Plese note tht when cutting ny pttern, pieces my fll off due to the virtion of the sw. Simply, glue ck on nd nil from ck to secure it firmly. FIG. I 13

15 ARK CHEVRON / HORIZONTAL FASTENING STEP 10 Once level nd ligned, fsten the exposed ck pnel with t lest 4 #18 Guge Nils. (OPTIONAL: If using flthed screws, e sure to use Counter Sink it first to drill screws elow the surfce.) 18 TOOLS: 18 GAUGE NAIL GUN WITH NAILS 15

Using # Guge Nils, nil in etween individul wood pieces, tking cre to hide the nils within the 3D volume of ech design. REMEMBER: THE PANELS MUST BE GLUED AND NAILED FOR THE WARRANTY TO APPLY; THIS METHOD WILL ALSO PREVENT THE PANELS FROM WARPING IN THE FUTURE. 20

38 ARK CHEVRON / SPECIAL APPLICATIONS FOR OUTLETS, LIGHT SWITCHES, BUTTONS, ETC... STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 Mrk your outlet distnce nd elevtion on your test pttern nd on the wll. Mrk your tile nd drill 4 holes for ech corner of the outlet. Using Jigsw to cut line from corner to corner. STEP 4 STEP 5 Turn the piece round, trim nd detil. Test on wll efore pplying glue/nils. 38

41 ARK CHEVRON / SPECIAL APPLICATIONS CEILING APPLICATIONS In generl, we do not recommend using these products for ceiling pplictions; this specificlly includes Arc Chevron, Crest, Curv Chevron, Curv, Krescent, Kudr, Metmorphosis, Prllels, Scle Reckt, Tresses, Vertex, nd Wve styles. However, if Edge, Infuse nd Kuik styles re used in ceiling ppliction, use three #18 Guge Nils over ech solid prt of the tile s n extr precution nd must e instlled y Licensed Flooring Contrctor or Licensed Finish Crpenter with ceiling instlltion experience. Specil glues nd nil size must e specified y the Project Engineer nd/or signing Architect for the project nd lso comined with the use of #18 Guge Nils long the edges of ech tile. 41
