3 Negative YNMG type Extremely capable and lexible insert YNMG inserts are applicable or existing external and internal toolholders. The Y-Pro series improves the application range or under cutting, V-grooving and taper machining. Same toolholder or both inserts Conventional VNMG 35 type YNMG 25 type For details and compatibility with toolholders, see "Instructions or use." When using competitor toolholders, the applicability should be checked in advance. Improved seating stability ZM chipbreaker For medium cutting Inclination The side rake angle is increased in the direction o the arrow. When proiling, chips are curled and broken. When undercutting, chips are evacuated smoothly. Hemispherical protrusion and chipbreaker wall A hemispherical protrusion and high wall have been introduced. The hemispherical protrusion improves chip control. When high eed and large depth machining, the chips are controlled by the rear wall. 25 insert Dimple structure Dimples are ormed near the corner point. This reduces the contact area between the chips and the rake ace, reducing thermal cracks. The YNMG type insert can be mounted on toolholders where the walls o the insert pocket are undercut on the both sides as shown on the let.
