2 Greetings from The Enterprise Team, We hope we find you well, and busy planning and preparing your entries for this year s show. After last year s impromptu move to a new spot on the show ground, we soon settled in, got the Enterprise show on the road and very quickly decided that we really rather liked it there, and even more importantly, so did you. So we have decided to stay and that s where you ll find us this year. We continue with your favourite classes and have some new ones too. In addition our baking judge Jane Woolliscroft has an interesting baking challenge for the bakers and there are 2 exciting competitions from Winterton 2022, one for children and one for adults and children aged 12 and over. Details of both are on the centre pages. Once again we have listened to your feedback and included some of your suggestions So among the new classes this year we ve included a set of doll s clothes, a blanket, some cookies, a plate of mixed vegetables and introduced a decorated wooden spoon class for the children as well as a skateboard design for Yrs 5 and 6. Last year, once again you broke your own entry record and you also broke our software which collapsed under the strain! However, it s all fixed for this year and ready to go! So, good luck and let s go produce, bake and create! 6 Thanks to our Sponsors Once again we like to say a big thank you to our sponsors Biffa and Winterton Town Council for their support in enabling us to showcase our very talented local people and for helping us all to make The Enterprise Section such a great success. Jane s Great Baking Challenge There s quite a few things that our bakers do really well and one of them is the humble flapjack. However, this year our baking judge, Jane has decided that she d like you to pimp them up a bit and create flapjacks that are no longer humble, to go beyond the usual oats and syrup and to take the flapjack to new dizzying heights! There s a whole feast of dried fruit, seeds, nuts and spices out there that our predecessors never had access to, so it seems only right that we use them to create something truly inspirational that has Jane waxing lyrical about how marvellous they are and inspire her to award someone the new Great Baking Challenge trophy! So, this year Class 15 gets the makeover! Submit your entries in the usual way and then bring your three flapjacks to the marquee on Sat morning before 10am where we will await with mouthwatering anticipation.
