Add flour, yeast, sugar, soaked fruit, cinnamon and ginger into a bowl and mix. Combine with milk, butter and egg and mix to form a thick dough. Flour a surface and knead until light and springy. Place dough in a bowl, cover with a towel and leave to rise for approx.. 1 hour. Oil and flour one large bread tin, add dough to tin, cover and leave for a further 15mis. Bake for approx. 20 mins at 180 o C. 7 RULES AND REGULATIONS 1 All classes are open to all. 2 Intending exhibitors must give notice to the Secretary according to the directions given on the Entry Form. All Entrance Fees to accompany the Entry Form. 3 Exhibitor allowed only one prize in the same class. 4 All specimens exhibited for competition must have been grown by the Exhibitor in their own garden or allotment, or have been in their possession for at least two months prior to the Show, except where otherwise stated. 5 No competitor may remove their exhibits until 4.00 pm. 6 The Committee will not be responsible for any damage which may occur to exhibits or containers. 7 The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry. 8 All prizes are to be awarded at the discretion of the Judges. 9 All arrangements to be at the discretion of the Committee. 10 All complaints must be made to the Secretary before 4.00 pm on the day of the Show. The decision of the Committee is final. 11 It shall be the duty of the Committee to see that no person except those officially appointed shall be present during the judging. 12 Prize money will be paid on the day of the show. 13 Class prizes and point scores as shown on previous page. 14 Arts and Craft items cannot be accepted for judging if they have been awarded a prize in any previous Spaxton Show. 15 ALL EXHIBITS FOR COMPETITION MUST BE STAGED BETWEEN 09:00 AND 10:45 am ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW 16 Entry forms must be returned by 5:30pm on Thursday 22 March to one of the following: Spaxton Community Stores 1 The Cottages, Four Forks (Paul Tomlinson) Littledown, High Steet (Carol Franzen) NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE TO ENTRIES AND LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED 7
