2 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS RULES AND REGULATIONS I. OPENING The Pavilion will be open to the public on Saturday 5 th May 2018 at 12 noon. II. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. All exhibits must be bona fide property/work of exhibitor. 2. An exhibitor may enter one other persons work on their behalf. 3. Bulk school entries will not be accepted. 4. Exhibitors may choose to have their work either judged (as in previous years all entries were judged) or in a display section only. 5. Exhibitors may not enter work that has previously won a 1 st place at the Lions Fair Pavilion. Exhibitors can choose to have their work displayed. All display work must be labelled accordingly III. EXHIBITS 1. The Lions Club will not be responsible for any accident that may happen to any exhibit in the Pavilion and it shall be a condition of entry that every exhibitor shall hold the Lions Club blameless and indemnify it against any legal proceedings arising from such accidents. 2. The Lions Club will not, under any circumstances, hold itself responsible for any loss or damage to exhibits at the Fair Pavilion. 3. Pavilion exhibits to be delivered to the Collinsville Community Centre between 3pm and 6pm on Friday 4 th May 2018, prior to the Pit Pony Festival. 4. Exhibitors or their agents must point out to Stewards their respective entries in order that they may be identified by the appropriate numbered card. 5. Exhibits entered in the wrong class by the exhibitor may be transferred to the proper class by the Stewards. 6. Pavilion exhibits must be removed FROM 9am to 11am on Monday 7 th May Any Exhibitor that is unable to collect their entries at the allocated time MUST make arrangements with the Co-ordinator at the time of entry. Any Exhibits that are NOT collected may be disposed of accordingly. 7. No exhibitor or agent will be permitted to be with the Stewards or Judges during the time of judging and no exhibitor shall be allowed to act as Steward in a class in which they exhibit. The exhibits of any person infringing this rule will be disqualified. 8. All exhibits must have section and class attached to the exhibit prior to lodging your entry. The Lions Club of Collinsville apologise for any errors or omissions that have occurred in this programme. We have endeavoured to ensure that all of our sponsors and supporters are acknowledged and we thank them very much for their continued support in This year there will be prize money allocated and we thank the generous sponsors and the Pit Pony Festival Committee for their support of the talented community members.

4 SECTION 2 HORTICULTURE 2. All exhibitors are to provide their own containers. All ornamental vases, bowls, etc are the responsibility of the exhibitor. 3. All exhibits must be grown by the exhibitor. 4. Maximum pot size is 25cm (or 10 ). Hanging pot plants are not acceptable due to problems in displaying same effectively and safely. 5. Exhibits which have previously won a 1 ST prize in this section are not eligible for entry. We are still able to make the entry free to all community members. Prize Money will be allocated as follows: FIRST PLACE $4 SECOND PLACE $2 THIRD PLACE $1 HIGHLY COMMENDED NIL ENCOURAGEMENT NIL Prize winnings will be available from the pavilion from pm on the Saturday 5 th May Envelopes will need to be signed for so please be aware that we won t be able to give envelopes of cash to anyone other than the winner or parent/guardian.
