6 Atea Desigs: Atea Families / RET-system Distiguishig features Desig Compact size ad elegat desig are the distiguishig features of Kathrei s atea families. Radome The radomes cover the iteral atea compoets. The fiberglass material guaratees optimum performace with regards to stability, stregth, UV resistace, paitig ad weather protectio. The colour of the radome of outdoor pael ateas is similar to RAL 735. Evirometal iflueces Kathrei atea desigs are based o fudametal egieerig kowledge ad also o our decades of practical experiece, durig which the various costructios ad materials used have proved their outstadig reliability. Evirometal coditios Kathrei cellular ateas are desiged to operate uder the evirometal coditios as described i ETS class 4.1 E. The ateas exceed this stadard with regards to the followig items: Low temperature: 55 C High temperature (dry): +6 C Evirometal tests Kathrei ateas are desiged accordig to the specificatios as defied i ETS The homogeous desig of Kathreis atea families uses idetical modules ad materials. Extesive tests have bee performed o typical samples ad modules. The vibratio test has bee adapted relatig to frequecy ad acceleratio to the coditios of mast mouted ateas. Great variety of half-power beam width, gai values, electrical dowtilt Accordig to the atea type selected, customers ca choose from differet half-power beam widths, gai values ad electrical dowtilts for pael ateas. Dowtilts are either fixed or adjustable ad cotrolled by remote electrical tilt system (RET). Low itermodulatio products (typ. < 153 c) With may years of experiece i the costructio of ateas ad itesive research ito the effects of itermodulatio, we offer optimized material ad techology used for ateas (the give value refers to 3rd order products measured with 2 carriers of 2 W each). These multi-array ateas do ot oly supply a future-proof multiplicity of diverse frequecy bads for various techologies, but are also well-prepared for differet MIMO-applicatios. The Kathrei portfolio cotais a high variety of desig solutios like iterleaved ad side-by-side atea types or combiatios of both as well as filter realizatios. Excellet groudig The ateas are DC grouded accordig EN Multi-fuctioal istallatio hardware Depedig o the type, the ateas are equipped with up to 2 attachmet poits. Paels ca be wall-mouted without ay additioal hardware. For mast-moutig, brackets ad mechaical dowtilt kits are available. To assist the istallatio techicias i aligig the paels, a azimuth adjustmet tool ca be supplied (see Mechaical Accessories). MTBF Statemet Traditioally, passive compoets like ateas caot be well calculated due to the lack of a sufficiet umber of compoets i the MTBF library. Ufortuately, this costrait results i a very iaccurate calculatio. Thus, such results are techically questioable ad urealistic. I essece, ateas are made out of mechical parts that do ot show ay failure rates. Oly available failure rates ca be calculated ito a MTBF value. Cosequetly such compoets caot be listed i ay MTBF library. Remote Electical Tilt System AISG Compliacy Kathrei hereby states that RET devices, as far as the fuctioality ad features are described withi the AISG / 3GPP stadard, are compliat with the stadard. NGMN-P-BASTA All ateas which are measured accordig to the specificatios give i NGMN-P-BASTA White Paper Versio 9.6 are clearly marked i the data sheet. RET RFID Fuctioality Kathrei s latest Remote Cotrol Uit (RCU) is equipped with a iteral RFID reader. Most of our ateas are equipped with RFID tags i their spidles.
