4 MEASURING CENTRES imc 7/ MC 7 - ADVENCED POWER QUAITY ANAYZER USE imc 7 Cass A The imc 7/MC 7 Advanced Power Quaity Anayser can be used as a standaone PQ monitoring device for detection and anaysis of oca PQ deviations, transients, aarms and periodic measurements. For this purpose it is normay positioned at the point-of-common-couping (PCC) of industria and commercia energy consumers to monitor quaity of deivered eectric energy or at medium or ow votage feeders to monitor, detect and record possibe disturbances caused by operation of consumers. Identifying reevant fixed measuring points is the most important tas prior to compete system instaation. The impementation of a PQ system itsef wi not prevent disturbances in networ but rather hep diagnose their origins and effects by comparing and scrutinizing data from mutipe time synchronized measurement points. The imc 7/MC 7 can be used in power utiities (for evauation against standards) as we as for industry purposes (monitoring suppied power quaity). It performs measurements in compiance with reguatory requested standard EN and evauates recorded parameters for anaysis according to parameters defined in European power quaity standard EN060. The device enabes storage of a wide variety of highy detaied osciography data in GB of interna fash memory based on a sophisticated trigger settings mechanism. Data can be stored in standardized PQDIF (IEEE 9-3) and COMTRADE (IEEE C37.) fie formats which can easiy be exchanged with third party PQ anaysis SW systems. Apart from this, the imc 7/MC 7 aso supports monitoring and recording of the most commony used auxiiary sensor anaogue or digita I/O data (e.g. temperature, pressure, gas/water/heat consumption, intrusion detection etc.). These readings can aso be used for aarming and contro purposes. The most extensive benefits are achieved when imc 7/MC 7 is used as a part of an energy monitoring system comprising of strategicay positioned meters connected to the MiSMART system software soution. 6 MEASURING CENTRES MC 77 - POWER QUAITY ANAYZER USE MC 77 is an important device for permanent monitoring of power quaity from its production (especiay renewabe), transmission, distribution to fina consumers, who are most affected by insufficient quaity of votage. ac of information about suppied quaity of votage can ead to unexpained production probems and mafunction or even damage to equipment used in production process. 14 MEASURING CENTRES MC NETWOR ANAYZER USE The MC 760 networ anayzer is used for permanent anaysis of eectric votage quaity in compiance with the EN 060 standard. Records are stored in the interna memory for the period of the ast 3 years. Moreover, more than 70,000 deviations of the measured quantities from the standard vaues are stored, which enabes finding of eventua reasons for the probems on networ. Optiona imits and required quaity in a monitored period can be defined for each monitored characteristic. The meter measures and records the foowing characteristics: Frequency deviations, votage deviations, votage dips, votage interruptions, votage unbaances, over-votages, fast votage changes, ficer intensity, THD, harmonics. 15 MEASURING CENTRES MC 70 - NETWOR RECORDER USE The MC 70 are intended for monitoring, measuring and recording of eectrica quantities of a three-phase eectric-energy distribution system. The meter is provided with 3 adjustabe aarms, MB fash recorder (up to 6 measurands and 3 aarms), up to four input or output modues and communication. With the RS 3/RS or Ethernet/USB communication the meter can be set, measurements checed and stored data downoaded. The meter functions aso as an eectricity meter, with the additiona function of cost management by tariffs. A tariff input or a tariff coc can be set. At tariff coc setting, four periods and four wor groups as we as eectric energy price for each period and a wor group (6 different price periods) are avaiabe. Additionay, 0 paces are avaiabe for setting hoidays or days when specia tariff rues are vaid. As an eectricity meter it records energy in a four quadrants in four tariffs. It measures RMS networ vaues and a significant deviations from the nomina vaues by means of fast samping of votage and current signas.
