Cut seater frnt back and sleeve ut f paper placing pieces n the fld as indicated t ake full size patterns. Pin full size paper patterns n seater th run a achine basting stitch arund each pattern piece. Cut utside the basting line. This ill keep the seater fr unraveling as yu se. Use the ribbing f the child's seater t ake the neckband and cuffs placing ne edge f the patterns alng the finished edge f the ribbing. SWEATER CONSTRUCTON. Fld placket n fld line WRONG SDES TOGETHER and press. 2. Stitch alng slash line n seater back as indicated n pattern. 3. Cut cter back slash as indicated n pattern (a). Spread slash and pin t unflded edges f placket. Stitch ith gart side up (b). Turn placket. Press right side f placket t extd tard the left side f the seater. Se cuff ds tgether.. Run a single r f gathering stitches alng btt f sleeve.. Divide cuff int furths placing pins t ark divisins. 2. Divide sleeve int furths at btt edge placing pins t ark divisins. 3. Match sea f cuff t underar sea f sleeve. Match ther furth divisins and pin. Pull up gathering threads t evly distribute sleeve alng cuff. Se sea stretching cuff slightly. 4. Serge r zigzag btt edge f seater. Fld up % and press. Se he ith achine stitch. 5. Place snaps n neckband and dn placket at back f shirt. JUMPER CONSTRUCTON 6. Make pleats n juper frnt as indicated n pattern. Pin and press in place. 7.
