1 A few notes about PDF patterns from Designs by Jude.... This PDF pattern requires legal size paper (8.5 x 14 ) or A4 size paper (8.27 x 11.69, 210mm x 297mm). It will not print on standard letter. Patterns containing larger pieces will need to be taped together before cutting out the fabric. Be advised that this document needs to be printed to it s original scale. 3 Designs by Jude For Ellowyne Fabric & Notions: cotton, cotton blends, tee shirt knit, 4/0 snap snaps and tiny buttons Easy Tank Top Turn armhole opening under 1/8 inch and top stitch. Turn neck opening under 1/8 and top stitch. Serge or zigzag both sides of back opening. Apply lace around neck opening and armhole openings if desired. Sew front section to back sections at the under arm seams. Fold left back opening under by ¼ inch. Stitch in place. Apply snaps to close. High Waist Skirt Sew darts in front section. Sew darts in back section. Sew back sections to front section at the side seams. Fold over top edge and topstitch. Serge or zigzag back openings. Hem lower edge. Sew center back seam from the hem to the dot. Fold left back section under. Finish with snaps. Prepare straps by cutting two fabric strips 5 long by 1 ¼ wide. Fold the material with right sides together. Sew across one end and lengthwise, turn and press. Cut to the desired length and attach straps at front and back. Sundress Sew darts in both back sections. Stitch side front sections to front section. Stitch back sections to front side sections at side seams. Serge/zigzag both back sections at the opening edge. Serge/zigzag lower edge of dress facing. With right sides together pin dress facing to the dress, matching centers. Stitch (¼ overlap of fabric facing will occur on each end). Turn facing into the dress, tuck facing edges in and hand sew or machine top stitch to hold in place. Stitch back seam from large dot to hem. Hem the dress. Finish with satin ribbon straps and snaps. Short Jacket with Collar Sew front sections to the back section at the shoulder seam. Press seam open. With right sides together sew collar sections together, leaving the neck edge open. Clip seams, turn collar right side out and press. Pin collar to garment, matching the center back of the jacket to the center of the collar. Baste in place. With right sides together, pin the sleeve to the armhole opening. Sew sleeve in place. Clip to seam. Sew front sections to the back section at the side seams. Sew lining front sections to the lining back section at the shoulder seam. Press seam open. Pin sleeve lining to lining armhole opening. Sew sleeve lining in place. Clip to seam. Sew lining front sections and lining back section together at the side seam. With right sides together, pin the jacket lining to the jacket. Starting at the hem edge sew the two together, leaving an opening in the hem edge to turn the garment. Clip to seam. Turn garment right side out and press. Hand finish hem edge. Sew on small button and snaps if desired to finish.
