2 Classes Turning Twenty Rotary 101 (Beginner) Wednesdays July 1 & 15 (6-8:30) Turning Twenty by Tricia Cribb takes twenty of your favorite fat quarters and turns them into a generously-sized throw and kits are available in many different styles and colors. Merle teaches you the basics of cutting piecing, pressing and all the techniques to complete the top and begin your quilting adventure. It is simple, fast and fun. 3 Classes Scottish Ale (Beginner) 1 Thursday July 16 (5-9) This quilt has a definite masculine feel! Scottish Ale is a stunning quilt made from the gorgeous ombre shaded fabrics in the Serenity Collection by EE Schenck. Only four fabrics are used - the ombre does all the work, making this pattern both contemporary and traditional. Mike made this sample and is ready to lead you through the process. Kits are only $98 to make this 73 x 90 quilt. Pattern included in kit. Merle will show you how simple it can be with the paper-piecing method. This class will get you off in the right direction as you begin your paper-piecing journey. Yellow Creek Quilt Designs first book was published by Kansas City Star and is the ever-popular Kindred Spirits. Their first line of fabric for Windham Fabrics will be out in 2015 and a new book is close to completion. In an effort to make every class the best possible experience for everyone: Payment of class fees must accompany registration. Please call us if you wish to pay by credit card. Late arrivals disrupt valuable class instruction. Provided we receive seven days notice, we offer a full refund as a store credit if you cannot attend a class.
