3 Quilter's Apron Make this simple apron in one day and never lose your quilting or sewing supplies again! 4 BEGINNER QUILTING CLASSES Rail Fence This is a great first quilt. Choose fabric that will work in your den for a throw to use on the back of the couch. You will learn rotary cutting techniques, strip piecing, chain piecing and much more that you will use repeatedly as you make your future quilts. Pattern included in class fee. 5 Bali Wedding Star This is one of Judy Niemeyer*s most popular wedding ring quilts. The arcs are strip pieced making the time you save invaluable. This is a foundation paper pieced pattern. You will learn many techniques with this class. Intermediate or confident beginner Teacher: Lucille Amos Dates: Feb 22, Mar 22, April 26 10:00-4:00 Fee: $ if paid in full or $45.00 monthly French Braid "French Braids give you a lot of quilt for your sewing time. Although they look complicated, the quilts are simple to piece and once you have learned the technique the variations are endless. These quilts are extremely forgiving, with a high tolerance for minor errors and personal differences in seam allowance. The magic is all in the way you stack and cut the fabric. You will learn all about color- secondary colors, tertiary colors, complementary colors, monochromatic palettes and everything else color related. We'll make sample palettes and discuss different ways to coordinate fabric. This class will give you confidence in selecting the perfect fabric for all your projects. Armed with your new found knowledge, you will pull together your palette for the wall hanging, which will be made in the second session. No supplies are required for the first session. You will receive your supply list at the first session. The wall hanging utilizes basic paper piecing, but no experience is required!
