INSTRUCTIONS Snowman FACE Stipple with Buttermilk. Let Dry. This will create a little texture. Shade with Espresso. Drybrush with Light Buttermilk. Drybrush again with Warm White, then brighten with Snow White. Basecoat the cheeks with a wash of Cotton Candy. Basecoat the nose with Burnt Orange. Drybrush with Tangerine. Do the eyes with Lamp Black, then again with Snow White. TOP HAT Basecoat with Indian Turquoise. Shade with Victorian Blue. Drybrush with Whispering Turquoise. Deepen shading with Prussian Blue. Basecoat the hat band with Light Buttermilk. Shade with Espresso. Highlight with Warm White. Line the red stripes with Wild Berry. HOLLY LEAVES AND MITTENS Basecoat with Leaf Green. Wash over the Leaf Green with watered down Hauser Dark Green. Mop to remove excess. Let dry. Drybrush with Foliage Green. Deepen shading on the mittens with Hauser Dark Green. Dry brush brighter with Foliage Green mixed with a touch of Warm White. SCARF Red Stripes Basecoat with Wild Berry. Shade with Burgundy Wine. Highlight with Cotton Candy. Deepen shading with Napa Red. White Stripes Basecoat with Light Buttermilk. Shade with Espresso, Dry brush with Warm White. Float highlights with Snow White. Green Stripes Line with Leaf Green. Shade with Hauser Dark Green. Highlight with Foliage green. CALICO JACKET Use the photo as a guide to divide the surface into sections. 4 Snowman patch sections Basecoat with Indian Turquoise. Shade with Victorian Blue. Drybrush with Whispering Turquoise. Deepen shading with Prussian Blue. Basecoat the snowmen with Light buttermilk. Shade with Espresso. Drybrush with Warm White, then again with Snow White. Paint the noses with the liner brush loaded with Burnt Orange tipped in Tangerine. Drybrush cheeks with Cotton Candy. Dot the eyes with Lamp Black, then again with Snow White. I did a patch on the one arm with this color grouping and dotted it with Prussian Blue. HOUSE SCENE AND PATCHES WITH STRIPES Basecoat with Shoreline. Shade with Turquoise Blue. Drybrush with a little with a little Whispering Turquoise. Deepen shading with Victorian Blue. Line stripes with Blue Chiffon. For the house scene, basecoat the house the same as the red stripes on the Scarf. 4 artistsclub.com

6 Paint the windows and doors and line the roof with Lamp Black. Basecoat the snow with Light Buttermilk. Shade with Espresso. Highlight with Warm White. Line the snow on the roof with Snow White. Line the fence with Asphaltum. Line the tree trunks with Asphaltum. Line the trees with Hauser Dark Green. Repeat with Leaf Green, Foliage Green. Finish by lining the tips with Warm White. (Same trees on patches) Dot the background with Snow White. PATCH WITH WHITE DOTS Basecoat with Victorian Blue. Shade with Wedgewood Blue. Dry brush with Indian Turquoise. Deepen shading with Prussian Blue. Dot with Snow White. PATCHES WITH PINK HEARTS Basecoat with Whispering Turquoise. Shade with Indian Turquoise. Dry brush with Blue Chiffon. Deepen shading with Victorian Blue. Line or dot hearts with Cotton Candy. Sign Basecoat with Espresso. Wash over the sigh with watered down Ashpaltum. Mop to remove excess moisture. Dry brush with Espresso mixed with a touch of Light Buttermilk.. Shade with Ashpaltum mixed with a touch of lamp Black. Line the lettering with Snow White. FINISHING Outline as desired with Lamp Black. Line all the stitching with Lamp Black. Varnish with Media Ultra Matte Varnish. Line and dot snowflakes with Snow White. Use the DecoArt Snow Writer to add the snow texture. While wet, quickly sprinkle with Glamour Dust. Brush a little snow on the face and scarf also. 6 artistsclub.com
