Box 1153 GPO, Penang Malaysia GM: Tiny: VGM: Speedhound: On Sex: Justbeer: Hash Cash: Edna: MEMBERS ONLY Date: 6 September 2009 Newsletter 1954 GM S notes Hi All, 42 members came to the runsite at Bukit Gambir this week to participate in the joint run with FTAC. Apart from welcoming FTAC there were no guests to introduce in the circle a brief announcement was made to advertise the Lantern Run on October 8th. FTAC announced that the run was medium and there were no checks. We all set off to the right when facing the temple. The beginning was very familiar and gets more slippery every time we do it but at least there is a rope to prevent any tragedies. The beginning of the run was very much downhill and although this was relished we heard groans of what goes down is going to have to come up. Basically the run was down, down, down and then up, up, up. It was not long but several parts were quite challenging - slippery with nothing to grip on or boulders covered in moss which feels like ice as soon as you place your foot on it. Overall a good Thursday run as everyone who wanted had a good work out and no one was late in, let alone lost. Uncle Bee provided food for both chapters so that kept the group closer but after eating we told by the temple to move because they had people coming to pray. We obliged and moved down to the lower road. During the move we lost a few hashers but most stayed. We had a very short circle. First on ice was T.T Yeoh who weeks ago had completed 300 runs but had had family commitments and been unable to stay for the circle. Congratulations T.T. Next on ice was Alan who was rewarded with a beer for being the only FTAC member to support our circle. Goodyear charged Posh (Lina) for leading the SCBs. Uncle Bee charged Spiky Annie who had introduced us to Air Asia who are likely to sponsor something for the 2000th run - hopefully 500 sarongs. Next the Bunny - Hari Hari Mau was iced and the run was declared good, the food delicious but the site a bit of a problem because we had to move. Another great Thursday - many thanks Ma and Willy. Sign up NOW to give us some idea of the numbers!! All paid up Harriet members are free! Children under 12 years of age are free! All guests pay RM10 whether they run or not! All adults will get a t-shirt. The children will get lanterns and be entertained by Rambo and Speedhound who are organising games. Food will be provided as usual. The venue is D"Juice and the assembly time is 7.00pm. It will be a torchlight run. Please join in the fun. Don t forget to sign up for the Harriets 2000th run before too long otherwise you ll pay more!!!! There is a reminder from Gracie (Whatever) about anyone interested in forming a Hash Dragon Boat Team Come and join in on our next run and have some GREAT fun!!

In Need of a good home urgently!!! This adorable and very friendly puppy needs a good home urgently. It is female and about 2 months old.

Please help!!!! Funny Stuff!!!!! Little Susie was not the best student in Catholic School. Usually she slept through the class.

' When Susie didn't stir little Johnny, who was her friend, sitting behind her, took his pencil and jabbed her in the rear. 'God Almighty!' shouted Susie.

' But Susie didn't stir from her slumber. Once again, Johnny came to her rescue and stuck her in the butt. 'Jesus Christ!!!' shouted Susie.

Once again, Johnny came to her rescue and stuck her in the butt. 'Jesus Christ!!!' shouted Susie. And the Nun once again said, 'Very good,' and Susie fell back asleep. The Nun asked her a third question...'what did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?' Again, Johnny came to the rescue. This time Susie jumped up and shouted, 'If you stick that damn thing in me one more time, I'll break it in half!' The nun fainted. STOP PRESS:

9 The 6th September was Richard Jones 80th birthday. As well as wishing him many happy returns above, we have managed to get photos of his big bash. His family & friends from around the world turned up as did old and present hashers. It was a great night for this wonderful gentleman. Happy Birthday Richard and many more of them!
