2 EVERY DAY - Ringing at The Country Park, Filey ( from dawn to dusk ) and The Living Seas Centre, Flamborough ( hrs): Come and see everything from tiny Goldcrests to birds of prey up close in the hand, and learn all about their amazing lives and journeys from our expert team - all welcome, and great for kids and families! EVERY DAY at the Living Seas Centre, hrs (except Tues 16th & Sun 21st ): #Migweek exhibitions, displays, optics, Obs merchandise and second-hand books and reports for sale, live bird news and event info all in the Discovery Room! Saturday 13th (day) reserve warden for migrants in the hand, up-close and personal! Plus ringing demos at Filey (all day) & Flamborough ( hrs) Saturday 13th (eve) Evening talk in partnership with our friends at SCARBOROUGH BIRDERS: KEITH CLARKSON on Hunmanby Gap uncovering a vismig hotspot. Keith is a true pioneer of visible migration, bringing his boundless enthusiasm and knowledge to this special one-off talk for an 8pm start at Forge Valley Inn, 5 Pickering Road, West Ayton YO13 9JE. No need to book. Sunday 14th (day) 1230hrs FLAMBOROUGH - Migration Walk around South Landing with Mark Pearson. A relaxed wander in search of migrants. Meet at the Living Seas Centre. Plus ringing demos at Filey (all day) & Flamborough ( hrs)

Share the magic of visible migration with FBOG's vismig guru! 1230hrs FLAMBOROUGH Migration Walk with FBO experts. A relaxed wander around the outer headland looking for migrants. Meet at the Lighthouse hrs FILEY Filey Dams Drop-in. FBOG vols will be on hand in both hides to show you this great wetland reserve and its birds. Stay as long as you want! Plus - ringing demos at Filey (all day) & Flamborough ( hrs) Tuesday 16th hrs Bird ID workshop with Mark Pearson. An all-day indoor and outdoor workshop for beginners. Join Yorkshire Coast Nature / FBOG / FBO legend Rich for a relaxed headland walk in search of new arrivals from Scandinavia and (maybe) beyond! Bring in your birding optics and learn to how to make the most of them - and try out exclusive Opticron equipment at your leisure (with no obligation!). Friday 19th (day) Clarkson. Meet at the Living Seas Centre. Directions to the Filey ringing station: Park in Filey Country Park car park, opposite the caravan site. On foot, take the left-hand track immediately after the cafe. Follow the track for 150m and you'll see us on your right. Once again there will be second-hand books and reports for sale at the Filey ringing station, all proceeds from which go to Saint Catherine's Hospice. We're proud to be supporting SCH and encourage visitors to pick up a bargain or make a donation!
