2 Onsite Meetings Mnday, May 10: 7AM: IC Research team, Mathy, WsiDOT prject manager, Sakai, GPS tech supprts will meet at the beginning f the jb (1 mile nrth f Hwy 153 n I-39) at 7AM, Mnday, May 10. 8AM: WisDOT FWD peratr (Craig Vils) arrives n site. 9AM: WisDOT nuclear gauge peratr (Bb Schir) arrives n site. Daily Briefing: IC research team will infrm all parties n the ad hc briefing nsite. Onsite Safety WisDOT requires all nsite participants t bserve safety rules: Ingress and Egress t and frm the wrk zne, vehicles shall be equipped with yellw flashing lights. Lcatin t park vehicles. 4 On-site Activities Schedule Days 1-2 (Mnday AM t Tuesday AM) Travel lane Days 2-3 (Tuesday night t Wednesday night) Activities Setup the GPS base statin set up and IC rller system. Cnduct GPS validatin tests with a GPS rver. Train the IC rller peratr. Map f existing rubbilized PCC surface using the IC rller measurement system within a 1000-ft test strip. Cnduct in-situ pint testing f the existing surface using FWD within the test strip and measure each test lcatin with a GPS rver. Cmpact the 25-mm HMA base curse. Cnduct in-situ pint testing f the existing surface using a nuclear gauge after the breakdwn cmpactin and ther devices within the test strip (~ 20 lcatins) and measure each test lcatin with a GPS rver. Cmpact the 19-mm HMA intermediate curse. Cnduct in-situ pint testing f the existing surface using a nuclear gauge after the breakdwn cmpactin and ther devices within the test strip and measure each test lcatin with a GPS rver. Repeat the Days 1-2 peratins fr the driving lane. Driving lane Day 4 Analyze and reprt the IC and in situ results, generating a preliminary reprt and presentatin f results fr the Open Huse. Nte: Each daily peratin include: Milling f existing HMA verlay, rubblizatin underlying cncrete, paving f the 25-mm HMA base curse, and paving f the 19-mm intermediate curse. Tw Sakai duble-drum IC rllers (SW880 and SW990) will be used fr this dem as the breakdwn rller and intermediate rller. Either SW880 r SW990 will als be used fr mapping the rubblized PCC prir t the HMA verlay. GPS receiver and cntrl panels may be remved frm the IC rllers at the end f each daily paving peratin. 4

9 In-Situ Pint Testing and Other Tests WisDOT/FHWA-WI Prvide a FWD and an peratr fr testing n 1000-ft test strips f rubblized PCC prir t the HMA verlay fr bth days f peratins.
