1 CUSTOMER PORTAL Flrplan Management

2 FLOORPLAN ANALYTICS The flrplan analytics area displays flrplans yu have uplad t the prtal (if yu haven t yet upladed a flrplan please cntact ur supprt department). Frm here yu can track the mvements f yur custmers in yur venue in real time, n previus dates, n different flrs and at certain times f the day. Yu can als have data verlaid such as gender, age, dwell and lgin methd. Zm 1. Yu are able t zm in r ut f the flrplan, by clicking the buttn. a) Either clicking the + t zm in n the flrplan. Yu can zm in up t 250%. b) Or clicking the t zm ut f the flrplan. Yu can zm ut t 25%. Settings 1. The settings area is split int tw areas, Accuracy settings and Shw/hide. a) Accuracy Settings Rail snapping This will snap any users in clse prximity t the rail, thus increasing accuracy levels. Exclusin znes - This will d the ppsite t Rails, if an area has been assigned as an exclusin zne then any user appearing in that zne will be pushed ut f the zne t the strngest signal frm an AP. N data will be captured frm these areas. b) Shw/hide Znes Lcatins Rails Ndes Jurneys Hardware Active menu item nly 2. T turn ff untick the bx next t the relevant ptin.

3 Quick Develpment Tls On the left f the screen yu have the quick develpment tls, these allw yu t quickly create within the flrplan. Frm here yu can access the fllwing: Select Tl - When this tl is selected yu can directly click n flrplan elements such as znes and rails t edit them. Pan Tl - When this tl is selected yu can mve yur flrplan int view by clicking and dragging n it. Add Zne - Use this tl t quickly create a new zne n yur flrplan. Create znes t divide yur flrplan int areas. Add Lcatin - Use this tl t quickly create a new lcatin n yur flrplan. Lcatins are pints f interest n yur flrplan such as shps, restaurants r car parks. Add Rail - Use this tl t quickly create a new rail n yur flrplan. Rails are paths n yur flrplan. Add Nde - Use this tl t quickly create a new nde n yur flrplan. Ndes are junctin pints such as entrances, exits, lifts, escalatrs r stairs. Add Jurney - Use this tl t quickly create a new jurney n yur flrplan. Jurneys can be created t give yu an insight int walk times r queue times at yur venue. Add Hardware - Use this tl t quickly add hardware and sensrs t yur flrplan and psitin them. Standard Develpment Tls On the right f the screen yu have the standard develpment tls, this als allws yu t create within the flrplan but will als shw already created and the ability t edit if required. Frm here yu can access the fllwing: Znes - Frm here yu can create znes fr the flrplan, this will allw fr dwell-based e-shts t be set up and als shw the number f users in that zne right nw and hw many were there in the last 24 hurs. Lcatins - Lcatins are pints f interest n yur flrplan such as shps, restaurants, car parks and infrmatin pints. Yu can add, edit and categrise yur lcatins here. Rails - Allws yu t create a new rail n yur flrplan. There are several types f rail that yu can create including: Pedestrian rails Car rails Bus rails Train rails Ndes will autmatically be added at the start and end pints f each new rail that yu create. Ndes - Ndes are junctin pints n yur flrplan such as entrances, exits, lifts and stairs. Yu can add, edit, grup and repsitin ndes here. Jurneys - Shws a list f jurneys that have been added t the flrplan. Yu can add, edit and remve jurneys here. Hardware - Shws a list f hardware that has been added t the flrplan. Yu can add, edit, remve and repsitin yur hardware here.

4 Znes 1. T create a new zne, click the buttn yu have 3 different methds, these are: Plygn - Allws yu t draw a freefrm zne with as many pints as yu require. Rectangle - Allws yu t draw a square r rectangular (4 sided) zne. Circle - Allws yu t draw a circular zne. 2. Select the required methd depending n the shape f yur new zne. 3. Yur muse icn will change t a black Click nce n the flrplan in the area yu want yur new zne and drag yu muse t the required size and lcatin. 5. Click yur muse again t cmplete the zne creatin. 6. The zne will appear n the flrplan with a unique clur defined by the prtal. Each zne will have its wn clur. 7. On the right f the screen yur new zne will appear at the tp f the list and will be named Unnamed Zne. 8. Click nt the name and give it a unique name applicable t the area. 9. Once named yu can nw make this zne an Exclusin Zne, this will mean that n data will be captured in this area, als if any users appear in the zne the system will autmatically push them ut f this zne and t its strngest AP signal. It is used t increase the accuracy f the user s lcatin and als allw fr certain areas f the venue t nt recrd data. 10. T d this click the tggle buttn, it will change t when active. 11. T delete a zne, click the icn. 12. A cnfirmatin bx will appear, click the buttn.

5 13. The zne will then be remved. 14. T hide the znes n the flrplan, click the tggle buttn t ff. 15. The Zne will n lnger shw n the flrplan. Lcatins 1. Yu can add lcatins t the flrplan, such as shps, restaurants r places f interest, click the buttn. 2. A sub menu will appear, allwing t select either t add t the flrplan r a zne. 3. Add t flr plan a) Selecting t add t the flrplan will change the muse icn s yu can click anywhere within the flrplan t add the lcatin. b) Clicking the buttn will cnfirm the psitin. c) Clicking the buttn will delete the lcatin. d) When cnfirmed, n the right f the screen the details bx will pen.

6 e) Frm here we can add the fllwing: lcatin name This will default t the name Lcatin 1 but can be changed. Categry When selected the icn n the flrplan will change t match the selectin. Yu can select either f the fllwing: Retail Fd and drink Entertainment Bars and nightclubs Banks and cash pints Exits and fire escapes Custmer infrmatin First aid statin Disabled access Parking Descriptin This will allw yu t give a descriptin f this lcatin. Small lg Yu can brwse fr an image t replace the dt n the flrplan. Large lg This will appear when the user clicks n the lcatin. Mve Yu can mve the lcatin t a different pint n the flrplan if required. f) Yu can nw either save r cancel the lcatin. g) Click the buttn. 4. Add t zne a) When selecting t add t a zne the lcatin bx will pen instantly. Yu will have the same ptins t cmplete as yu did when adding t the flrplan except nw yu have an extra drp-dwn bx called Zne t cmplete. b) Clicking the zne drp dwn will display any znes created n this flrplan, selecting ne will place the lcatin in the centre f that zne. Rails Yu can create rails in yur venue t help imprve the accuracy f the lcatin data in the venue as it drags users in clse prximity t the rail. This is especially useful fr identifying aisles and walkways in a venue. 1. T create a Rail, click the buttn. 2. Yu can nw select the type, these are either: Pedestrian Car Bus Train 3. The muse cursr will change t a large + icn and a nde will autmatically appear at the beginning and the end. 4. Yu can nw draw yur rails n the flrplan, click yur muse nce where the rail is t start.

7 5. Drag and click yur muse again where it is t stp, yu nw have the ptin t stp cmpletely r carry n in a different directin. 6. T carry n click yur muse n the flrplan at the next pint and cntinue with this step until yu have finished, each click will have anther nde added. 7. T stp, press ENTER n the keybard. 8. The new rail will appear n the flrplan. 9. On the right f the screen the system wuld have given the rail a name by default, clicking n the name will allw yu t then rename the rail t smething mre apprpriate. 10. Yu nw have Rail snap, this will drag users within the set threshld t the rail. 11. This is turned n by default, t turn ff click the tggle buttn. 12. Yu can change the threshld by clicking int the threshld bx and inputting the new amunt in cm. 13. Yu als have the ptin t shw the threshld verlay n the rail within the flrplan.

8 14. Once cmplete click the buttn. 15. T hide the rail n the flrplan, click the tggle buttn t ff. The Rail will disappear ff the flrplan. 16. T delete the rail, click the buttn. Ndes When expanded sme ndes may have been added t the flrplan autmatically when a rail was created s will appear here with the same rail name. Yu can edit r create additinal ndes as required. 1. T add a new nde, click the buttn. 2. The sub menu will appear, yu can select the fllwing: Junctin Entrance/Exit Lift Escalatr up Escalatr dwn Escalatr end Stairs Other 3. The nde bx will pen n the right.

9 4. Yu can nw edit the nde type by selecting a different icn. 5. Give the nde a name. 6. Assign t a grup frm the drp-dwn menu, if ne has been created. 7. If a grup hasn t been created click the Or create new grup tggle buttn t n. 8. An additinal field will appear allwing yu t give the new grup an ID. 9. Yu can mve the nde t a new lcatin n the flrplan by clicking the buttn if required. 10. Click the buttn. 11. The new nde will nw appear in the list. 12. T edit any existing ndes, click the arrw. 13. The nde bx will pen displaying the infrmatin entered, yu can edit any f the details and click save when cmplete. 14. T delete a nde, click the buttn. 15. Yu can als hide the ndes n the flrplan by clicking the Shw tggle buttn t ff. Jurneys Jurney management allws yu t create jurneys n yur flrplan, when yu create a jurney yu can specify any expected delays and hw lng yu think it shuld take. Yu can then create a real-time reprt that will display minute by minute the exact time it is taking t make the jurney and hw lng any delays are. 1. T create a new jurney, click the buttn. 2. On the right, the jurney bx will expand, yu can nw enter the infrmatin

10 3. Yu will need t give it a jurney name. 4. Enter a reference if required. 5. Enter the start lcatin by clicking the drp-dwn menu and selecting a zne frm the list. 6. Select if it starts n entering the zne r leaving the zne. 7. Nw select the end zne, again clicking the drp-dwn and selecting the zne the jurney will end. 8. Als, set if n entering the zne r leaving. 9. If yu want t cnnect with a rail click the tggle buttn t n, this will allw yu t draw the jurney incrprating ther znes if required. Yu can click n the flrplan and this will then include that lcatin within the jurney path, yu can d this as many times as needed. Clicking Enter when cmplete. 10. Yu can nw specify the expected walk time in minutes and secnds. 11. Yu can als specify any expected delays in the jurney, again in minutes and secnds. 12. Yu nw enter the maximum jurney length, again in minutes and secnds. 13. Finally, yu have the ptin t include real time reprts. This mean yu can generate a reprt that will update minute by minute giving exact walk times and any delays. Keep the bx ticked t include. 14. Nw click the buttn. 15. The new jurney will appear n the flrplan as an range dashed line.

11 Hardware Yu can add hardware t yur flrplan, alng with a unique name, the make and mdel and als its MAC address. 1. Click the buttn. 2. The fllwing will appear n the flrplan: 3. Yu can nw psitin the AP n the flrplan by dragging and drpping the green circle in its required lcatin. The X, Y details will change as yu mve the AP. 4. Click the green tick when yu are happy with the AP s psitin. 5. The fllwing will expand n the right. 6. Nw enter the hardware name. 7. Enter the MAC address. 8. Select the hardware type frm the drp-dwn menu. 9. Nw click the buttn. 10. The hardware will save in its current lcatin.

12 11. Yu can nw add any additinal hardware t the flrplan. View Mde By default, when first accessing the flrplan yu will be in Edit mde, this will mean that n data is recalled until yu are in View mde. Edit mde desn t lad data s that it is quicker fr yu t create any f the abve ptins. When yu want t see data, yu can change the mde t view, this will change the ptins n the left and right and als start t pull thrugh the data. 1. Click the buttn t change t View mde. 2. Data will nw start t be pulled thrugh and dts will start t appear n the flrplan. The timeline 1. The 24-hur timeline will be hidden by default clicking the buttn will shw the timeline and it will appear twards the tp f the screen. It will be tday s date by default but can be changed t any date as required. (as lng as there is data captured that day) 2. Yu can hide the timeline if required by clicking the buttn. Click this icn again will bring the time line back. 3. Yu can specify a time frame in rder t shw the mvements arund yur venue fr a certain time perid using the time line. 4. Using the drag handle n the 24-hur timeline, slide the first handle n the left t yur start time. 5. Nw psitin the ther drag handle t the end time. 6. The area in-between the tw drag handles will appear n the timeline in blue. 7. Nw click the icn t begin. The data will start frm yur start time and will autmatically stp at yur set end time. Selecting a different date 1. T change the date f the data yu are viewing, click the icn.

13 2. The calendar will expand, click the required date frm the calendar. 3. T change the mnth, click the mnth at the tp, this will then give yu the ability t select t required mnth. 4. The screen will refresh and start shwing the data cllected n that day. Selecting the play speed Yu can change the play speed f the data being shwn n yur flrplan, this is nly fr previus data cllected s cannt be used when in Live view. 1. T change the speed, click the icn. 2. The available speeds are as fllws: x1 speed x5 speed x10 speed x50 speed x100 speed x500 speed Real time 1. The watch the data live, click the buttn, the 24-hur time line will disappear, the will change t. 2. T stp Real time view, click the icn and the time line will return and data will stp. Ftfall r Heat map 1. Yu can change the view n the flrplan t shw users either as Ftfall r Heat map; by default, it will be set t Ftfall. 2. The data shwn n the flrplan will change depending n the chice 3. Ftfall will shw an icn t represent a WiFi enabled device fund.

14 4. A Heat map will shw a circled clur that will change depending n numbers. 5. T change the view, click either: Ftfall - Heatmap - Sidebars (Left & Right) 1. On the left yu nw have nly tw ptins, these are: Select - Pan - 2. On the right, there are nly 3 ptins, these are: Overview reprts This will give yu a breakdwn f the data. Data verlay What additinal infrmatin is t be displayed n the flrplan. Visitr and devices Gives the data fr each knwn user and unknwn devices.

15 Overview reprts Will shw infrmatin that will change as users enter and leave the venue, these are: Number f devices - Number f Males and Females - Number f devices and brand, shwn as a dnut - Number f different cnnectin methds - Number f users within certain age ranges - Number f users in a certain zne nw and in the last 24 hurs - Data Overlay 1. By default, will shw all the male, female and unknwns n the flrplan as clured circle icns. They appear as fllws: Male Female Unknwn 2. Yu can turn the data verlay ff by clicking the icn, t turn back n click the icn. 3. Yu can als add mre data verlays nt these icns, clicking the relevant ptin. They will add additinal clurs t user in the venue, these are brken dwn as fllws: Age Range

16 Number f Visits Lgin Methd Dwell Time Visitr and Devices Once a user has lgged int the WiFi and they appear n the flrplan, yu are able t click the icn and see the details captured fr them. This will als shw the details abut the unknwn users in the venue but this is limited infrmatin. 1. Once yu select Visitrs and devices frm the drpdwn menu it will split the infrmatin int tw sectins: Knwn Users lgged int the WiFi. Unknwn Devices nt lgged int the WiFi. 2. By default, the knwn users will be displayed. 3. Clicking any f the prfiles listed will display the user n the flrplan. 4. Yu can als search by clicking int Search by name bx n the Knwn sectin r Search by device type fr the unknwns, then typing the relevant details t search fr. 5. Clicking any icn n the flrplan will als pen the visitr and devices area n the right and display the relevant prfile details. 6. The unknwns will appear as the make f the device and the number f visits.

17 Saving Flrplans Once yu make a change t the flrplan yu are able t then save it as a different versin. 1. As sn as a change has been made t the flrplan the buttn ges frm Grey t green. 2. The fllwing windw will pen: 3. Enter the name f this versin and click. 4. The new versin is nw saved.
