Individual classes in B,C, and D Blocks are $60 each per week. Special Discount Packages apply to taking multiple classes each week. Premium package includes all sessions A-E and costs $200 for the week. Deluxe package includes sessions B, C, and D with either an Early or Later Bird session added on and costs $185 for the week. Deluxe Early includes A, B, C, and D while Deluxe Late includes B, C, D, and E. Basic package includes sessions B,C and D and costs $150 for the week. 3 Adventures Beyond $60/week A unique recreational experience for students with special needs - including crafts, games, cooking, music, exercise, field trips and more. For ages Please call or for more information! Weeks 1-7: June 11 - August 3 Mon - Fri: 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM Extended times will be available! Important Information All students must pre-register. Please see the registration form on the last page. Most classes are limited to 15 students, so please register early! The day is divided into five blocks, A (6: ); B (8:30-10:30); C (11:00-1:00); D (1:30-3:30) and E (3:30-5:30) Students taking more than one class are invited to bring a snack and relax in between blocks. Students that are with us at lunchtime are invited to pack a lunch. Supervision will be provided at all times! If you sign up for 1-2 classes and they do not fill, we will do our best to place your child in another class. Early Birds (A) Information Early Birds (Block A) is an extra period provided for those parents who have to be at work first thing in the morning. This time features a light snack and morning leisure activities. Later Birds (E) Information Later Birds (Block E) is an extra period provided for parents who are busy until later in the afternoon. Students have structured down-time featuring crafts, games and leisure activities. Pricing Information with Special Discounts Early Birds (A) and Later Birds (E) sessions are $35 each per week. Hogwarts: Years 1 to 3 Block C, 11:00-1:00 First Years, this way! Time to get sorted into your house and start earning house points. We will get you all sorted with your very own wand, spell books and potions kit! Melt In Your Mouth Block D, 1:30-3:30 Cookies, cakes and cupcakes! These yummy treats melt in your mouth! You get to learn how to make these tasty treats yourself - what could be better?! Week 2: June Kids in the Kitchen Block B, 8:30-10:30 Who says only adults can be in the kitchen? Spend a week learning how to bake and cook like a kid. Inventor s Workshop Block C, 11:00-1:00 Ever wonder what it is like to make your own invention? Maybe you want to be like Thomas Edison and invent the light bulb? Or maybe like Markus Persson who created the Minecraft characters! In the Inventors Workshop, the possibilities are endless. By the end of the week you will have turned your very own idea into an awesome invention! Messy Art Block D, 1:30-3:30 Explore the world of wild and wacky art using some unconventional methods. If silly, gooey, slimy and messy are your styles, then this class is for you. We will use everything from paint to papier mache to food, in order to create masterpieces. Week 3: June Party in the USA! Block B, 8:30-10:30 Just in time to celebrate the Fourth of July! This week you are going to be exploring our nation s history, making patriotic crafts and yummy USA treats! Let s get ready for some fireworks! Bake That! Block C, 11:00-1:00 Learn basic cooking and baking skills! Spend the week turning ordinary treats into masterpieces! Gymnastics Block D, 1:30-3:30 Learn to jump, tumble and flip like the pros! Gymnastics is fun for everyone. Sign up for this class, so you can go home with a medal! 3

WATER! **Make sure you bring a change of clothes because you will not leave dry! Week 5: July 9-13 Disney Days Block B, 8:30-10:30 Spend the week with all of your Disney friends. It s time to bring them to life and explore the wonderful world of Disney. Are you ready?! Going Green Block C, 11:00-1:00 Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Learn all about how YOU can save the Earth one step at a time with cool ways to recycle and reuse. Sweet Treats Block D, 1:30-3:30 Chewy, gooey, chocolate and fruity! Learn to make snacks and desserts that fit everyone s taste buds! Week 6: July Animal Planet Block B, 8:30-10:30 Learn all about endangered species, biggest and smallest animals and the most adorable ones too! If you are an animal lover, then this is the class for you! Hawaiian Hullabaloo Block C, 11:00-1:00 Hullabaloo what?! It s going to be a Hawaiian good time! Take a trip to the islands and learn all about Hawaiian culture and history. You will even make your own lei! Summer Olympics Block D, 1:30-3:30 It s time for the YDC Summer Olympics. Compete in different categories and learn all about the Olympics. Will you take home the gold? Did you know? There is no word that rhymes with orange. Pinocchio is Italian for pine head. HIPPOPOTOMON- STROSESQUIPPEDALIOPHOBIA is the fear of long words. Week 7: July Weird Science Block B, 8:30-10:30 Time to make crazy experiments. Mix together different substances and see what reactions can happen. Kid scientists are the best! The Great Outdoors Block C, 11:00-1:00 Lace up your boots and pack your bag! Let s venture into the great outdoors. Learn about forest animals, go on scavenger hunts, create cool art from nature and sing campfire songs. Turtle Power Block D, 1:30-3:30 Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo are waiting for you to join them in saving the city! Enter into the world of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and learn how you can be just like them. Week 8: July 30-August 3 Under the Sea Block B, 8:30-10:30 What s deep down in the oceans of the world? Find out in our deep sea adventure class. You ll have a great time swimming with the fishes. Pirate s Life for Me Block C, 11:00-1:00 Ever want to be a pirate? Well here is your chance to experience what a pirate s life is really like. Will you be able to walk the plank? Barnyard Palooza Block D, 1:30-3:30 Oink! Moo! Baa! Neigh! World Travelers Block C, 11:00-1:00 Time to grab your passport! You are about to go travel the world with the YDC! Paris, Rome, China, Russia, Italy - wherever you want to go! It is going to be one amazing adventure. Robots!!!! More than a million industrial robots are now in use, nearly half of them in Japan. The first ever robot was created in the 5 th century B.C. by Archytas of Tarentum in the form of mechanical doves. The size of the smallest robot is less than 1/1000 th part of a millimetre. It is called nanobot. Star Wars Extravaganza Block D, 1:30-3:30 Let the force be with you. This is a place where good battles evil and the destiny of the universe hangs on your shoulders. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players! We will bring this back in week 8!
