1 2018 Calendar of Events All Events will be held at our Eau Claire Location, unless otherwise indicated Arndt Lane Eau Claire, WI Saturday, February 17th 10:00 am-4:00 pm Winter Escape - Ladies in the Greenhouse Escape the cold and come enjoy a day with your friends shopping in our greenhouse! Stroll through the local artist and vendor booths, check out our brand new home décor and much more. A day reserved for pampering & forgetting about winter for a few hours! Saturdays, March 3rd & 10th 10:00 am (preregistration required limited to 30 people) Saturday, March 31st 10:00 am 5:00 pm Rain or Shine Baskets & Brunch Cost: $60; includes breakfast buffet & one 12 hanging basket; Additional baskets may be planted at $50/basket It still may be winter, but we are thinking ahead to spring! Come enjoy a delicious breakfast brunch in the greenhouse. Then discover the joy of creating your own hanging basket. We will be planting baby plants in your hanging basket. Then DTE will care for your baskets until they are ready to go outside. You ll be able to pick up your baskets in May to take home and enjoy. Feel free to come in and check on their status as they grow. Limited to 30 people; Registration required. Down to Earth Easter Egg Hunt Springtime Family Fun! Hundreds of eggs will be hidden throughout the grounds, greenhouse and store. Each egg has candy for the kids, and some eggs also have coupons for parents. Other kids activities available throughout the day as well. * Limit 3 eggs per child - please. May 5th & 6th Spring Spectacular - Open House Spring is in the air and we have many great specials all weekend. Come visit our friendly staff to help you get your spring planting and landscaping projects started. Enter our Spring Spectacular Drawing in the Greenhouse for a chance to win a Beautiful Hanging Basket!

2 Friday, May 11 th 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm 6th Annual - Not Quite All Night Extravaganza Stay out late and take advantage of the best deals of the weekend! We will have a great selection of unique gifts and home décor items throughout our country store, great deals on plants, drink specials, and much more to make this shopping night a special one! In addition, 10 Hanging Baskets will be at our lowest price of the season. A great time to pick up that perfect gift for Mom or decorations for your upcoming grad party! May 12 th & 13th Mother s Day Celebration Weekend Enjoy a special day with mom at Down To Earth! Stroll through our greenhouse and grounds at Down To Earth. Then treat mom and grandma to a great cup of coffee and lunch at the Five & Two Café. Free Abdallah Chocolate for Moms! June 16 th 17th Father s Day Weekend Include a visit to Down To Earth as part of your Father s Day weekend to pick out a tree for Dad on his special day while he enjoys a free root beer float from us (While supplies last)! The Five & Two Café will also have a great Father s Day Lunch special to treat Dad to this weekend. June 18-24th Pollinator Week Stop out and see what perennials are the best pollinators. 3 All of September Saturday, September 8 th 10:00 am 4:00 pm Mum Mania Transform your front porch and patios for fall with some mums from Down to Earth. We have the biggest and brightest mums in town to choose from; we have several colors and sizes too! We also have pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, and anything else you need to make fabulous fall displays. Salsa Samplin and Tomato Tasting Saturday Come sample a variety of savory salsas made with local ingredients. Fresh locally grown tomatoes and peppers will be available to purchase for you to make your very own secret salsa recipes. Saturday, September 15 th 10:00 am to 4:00pm Saturdays September & October All of October Fall Festival with Exotic Zoo Cost: $15 per scarecrow includes straw, burlap head and clothes. Purchase select pumpkins for $3 and we ll provide the paint; Zoo is FREE We will once again be bringing back our exotic animal zoo this Fall from Animal Talks. We will have a variety of exotic animals for the kids to enjoy!! Bring the kids for a day of family fun! There will also be pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, pumpkin bowling, apple cider, cookies, and more! Scarecrow Makin Saturdays Cost: $15 per scarecrow includes straw, burlap head and clothes. Your fall decorating isn t complete without a scarecrow! We ll provide everything you need to create your unique master piece and we clean up the mess! Post pictures of your scarecrows on our Facebook page for all to enjoy and be inspired. Pumpkin Palooza October is Pumpkin Palooza at Down to Earth which means we will have great sales on pumpkins all month long! Plus, we have an incredible selection of gourds, squash, straw bales, corn stalks, mums and more to make your Fall decorating complete! Looking for something a little unique, Down to Earth also has lots of unusual-looking pumpkins and squash to make your display stand out and helpful suggestions on displaying and decorating at home. Saturday, October 27 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Pooches & Pumpkins If you love to dress up your pooch, this event is for you! There will be treats for Fido, a photo booth, pumpkin painting for the kids, and prizes awarded for the best pet costume. The winner will receive a goody basket filled with treats for you and your pet. There s fall fun for the whole family during this event so get out and enjoy the crisp fall air together before the snow falls! And don t forget to bring your pooch!!! Pumpkin Painting will also be available. *Due to health codes, dogs are not allowed into the gift shop or Five and Two Café at any time. All pets must

4 be on a leash at all times and accompanied by their owner.
