Our goal is to provide a supportive and positive learning experience for our campers all summer long. Our staff takes pride in working with our campers by encouraging them to use their creativity, to problem solve and to be proud of their success/es! Dinner, Snacks and lots of fun projects and activities. Using LEGO bricks and LEGO educational products, we provide handson, project-based learning activities that will enhance our campers science, technology, engineering, mathematics, creative writing, and presentation skills in a fun way. We have put together a variety of camps to meet the needs of our campers. We added a couple camps focusing on Ecology, a Kindergarten Jump Start Camp, a LEGO Chima Camp and a LEGO Writing and Math Camp. How about Harry Potter! We are excited to include S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) activities to each camp. Looking forward to spending this summer with your child! Preschool Enrichment Camps Each class is $25. Buy a pack of 8 classes by April 17 and get a t-shirt free. School Aged Camps All camps are $150 per week per camp or $35 a day. Sign up by April 17 save $10 per week and a BrickSpace shirt for $5. Combine a morning class (9 am 12 pm) and an afternoon class (1 pm 4 pm) for a full-day, weeklong experience that saves $50 off the price of two individual camps.

Passport to the World for Preschoolers Mondays and Tuesdays (Ages 3-5) $25 a class 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Ni Hao! Bonjourno! Let s go on a wonder-filled journey of exploration and learning. Each week we will travel to a new country, explore a new culture, learn basic vocabulary phrases, traditional music and make wonderful crafts. We will build a famous structure from each country. Along with learning about the countries, activities will provide opportunities for children to improve their fine motor and communication skills. They will work and play cooperatively, and even learn public speaking skills through our build and share time! Using their LEGO creations, your child will learn how to create a story, take digital pictures and group them together in a time-sequence to produce a motion video complete with music, special effects and all their favorite mini-figures. They will also learn about set and character designs. All movies will be edited and a DVD will be provided to every child in the camp. Engineering IS Everywhere June 8-12 (1 st 3 rd ) July am to 12 pm (4 th - 6 th ) Engineers get to imagine the future and design for it! Engineering Week offers hands on and project based learning activities designed to give students the opportunity to explore different fields of engineering like aeronautics, civil, structural, environmental, electrical and mechanical. We will discuss and apply the engineering design process in our daily challenges. We hope to reinforce student learning in critical thinking, problem solving, design, and group dynamic skills. LEGO Friends with S.T.E.M. hands-on activities (Ages 5+) June am to 12 pm Aug 3-7 This week is about friendships and science! How to make friends? How to keep friends and How to be a good friend? We will visit 5 good friends (Olivia, Emma, Mia, Stephanie and Andrea). We will learn that even with their different likes and interests, they are able to share their talents and interests and develop great friendships with one another. Besides LEGO building, every day we will also include different science and engineering activities. This will be a fun week, hanging with girlfriends, making new friends and lots of LEGO building and science experiments!!

4 Brickspace Summer Camp Flying High! Birds fly! Bats fly! Dragonflies fly! (Rising 1st to 3rd) June July am to 12 pm We will learn all about the amazing flights of our friends in nature and of man s venture to fly too! Lots of LEGO builds, zip lines, crafts and science experiments! Rainforest Ecology (Rising 4th to 6th) June July This LEGO building and ecology camp will explore how all parts of a tropical ecosystem depend on each other for life. Each day we will build one layer of the rainforest and examine how birds, mammals, trees, insects, plants, frogs and fungi live and interact in these unique layers of the rainforest. We will also learn about the different challenges and how these rainforest creatures/animals Amazing Animals with Robotics June July am 12 pm 1 pm- 4 pm (Rising 4th to 6th) (Rising 2nd to 3rd) This fun, action-packed week combines real-life skills with real-kid fun! We ll be building models of monkeys, alligators, snakes, lions and more. We will explore cool facts about the animals and their habitats as we build. Campers will understand the mechanical components of their build gears, pulleys and axels. Campers are also introduced to motors and sensors, which are built into models that are then connected to a computer to be programmed using a simple programming tool. This is a one of a kind program that will keep your child academically engaged and challenged this summer, all while having fun, by creating robots they are sure to be proud of! *Rising 4th to 6th graders will be challenged to work with partners to design, build and program their own unique models. These students will document the building and programming instructions. Brickspacebenicia.net Teenage Ninja Turtles (ages 4+) June 29 July 3 July pm 4 pm 9 am 12 pm CALLING ALL NINJA TURTLE FANS Who is your favorite turtle?? Come design and build your LEGO sewer system lair. Make yummy pizzas from scratch, take Tae Kwon Do lesson like Master Splinter and build awesome models with remote controls. We will also include some cool underground sewer science experience do I hear SLIME??? Campers take home crafts, headband, yucky sewer slime and a Ninja Turtle Mini Figure. Ninjago Welcome Brave Ninja with S.T.E.M. activities (Ages 4+) June 8-12 If your child loves LEGO Ninjago, they would love this camp. Five days of LEGO Ninjago building with a healthy dose of Science and Engineering activities. Customized their own LEGO spinjitzu training temple complete with ziplines. Learn about forces and motions. Create a series of training for their own LEGO Ninjas!! Make Ninja Stars and learn how to use them the right way! Become a Master Ninja/Scientist in BrickSpace's Ninjago camp. Campers take home a mini building set, their Ninja headband and Ninja Stars!

5 May the force be with you Adventures with LEGO Star Wars (Ages 5+) July 6-10 Aug * * With Animation (ages 7+) Join us in a galaxy far, far away, where Jedi knights help restore freedom to the galaxy. A Jedi knight serves others, rather than rules over them. This week we will practice the Jedi Code of Conduct! We will design our own Jedi Training Academy, build our own light saber and learn how to use it! We will explore constellations and planets and build awesome galactic scenes. Maybe some Star Wars animation if time permits! Camper will take home light saber, crafts and a LEGO Star Wars mini set! LEGO Architecture (8+) with a field trip to Chinatown Aug am to 12 pm Learn the principles of architecture using modeling and engineering techniques. We will explore the designs and techniques that create structural integrity of some of the world s famous structures. We will learn about their history and culture. This trip includes a trip to Chinatown to observe the Chinese building architectural designs. We also meet with an architect from Benicia. Once Upon a Time Castle, Knights and Princesses!! (Ages 3+) July 27, 28 and 29 9 am to 12 pm ($90) Come dress in your knight or princess outfits! Design and build your medieval castle complete with drawbridge moat and towers. Help our princess or knight escape the fiery dragon by flying them through the forest with a zip line runner! Build and test our catapult by trying to hit our castle with LEGO bricks! Accept the Queen s LEGO building challenges and win a prize! Campers take home crafts, catapult and zip runner! Super Heroes Week (Ages 4+) June Aug Harry Potter Adventures with Potions and More! (Ages 8+) July 27=31 1 pm 4 pm Join us for a fun week building HOGWART and all the creatures in Harry Potter World! We will practice how to be a wizard making spells and potions! Super Heroes LEGO fans! Join us and imagine your own super hero and create your own adventure. We will build lots of LEGO Super Hero models and include S.T.E.M. activities and experiments. Come dress in your Super Hero outfit! It will be a BLAST! Camper will take home crafts, mini Super Heroes LEGO set and more!

6 Space Adventure Camp (Ages 4+) Aug 3 to 7 Calling all space travelers! This camp takes you on an imaginary mission to Mars. We start our trip from launch pad to landing on Mars! We will learn about orbits, gravity and together we will build cool spacecraft, from super shuttles to robots and rovers. CHIMA Adventure Camp (Ages 4+) June Girls Only - LEGO Crazy Action Contraptions and Kitchen Chemistry (Ages 6+) June 29 - July 3 Come join us and build these fun LEGO engineering projects that really work! You will be working in teams designing and constructing Spin Art, Amusement Parks Rides, Coat-Hanger Daredevil, Rubber Band Car, Squeeze claw grabber, and many more! We will also include experiments like making crystals, glowing slimes, volcano eruptions, make ice-cream and more. We will have fun learning math, science and technology! Only the brave survive in the Land of Chima. Eight animal tribes battle in pursuit of CHI, the balance of life. Campers will have the opportunity to choose their tribe or create their own tribe, while building and battling for victory. Put your Chima skills to the test throughout this camp. Does your tribe have what it takes to become the ultimate master of CHI? Creative Writing and Math Clinic with LEGO bricks Aug Aug am to 12 pm (1 st and 2 nd grades) (3 rd and 5 th grades) MineCraft (Ages 6+) June 29 July 3 9 am to 12 pm July Aug (8+) Brush up with some writing and math skills before school starts. This is a fantastic camp for writers and kids that dread to write. Kids that love to build with LEGO always have a story to tell about their creations. Your child will learn the elements of a story. Campers will also brush up your math skills with hands on activities. A great camp for rising 1st and 2nd graders to learn math concepts with a lot of help with LEGO bricks. Campers take home daily writing and math projects. Our very popular and often sold out camp! If your child is crazy about Minecraft as much as my son, this camp is for them. They will be crafting and building their shelters, creating Kindergarten Jump Start Camp Aug am to 12 pm A great week to review numbers, letters, sounding out letters, colors, calendar and how to write their name. They will learn daily K routines. The soon to be kindergartener will also practice their social skills! And of course have FUN!
