Whether handling sharp maneuvers or sweeping through loops and curves, these models are sure to amaze. Each model is build from scratch and is yours to keep at the end of the camp! And because no look is complete without a bit of flair, we'll make some fun accessories such as belts, scarves and hair pieces. Unlike most other robots, Space Nine can walk on rough surfaces, turn left and right, and even cross over rocks. You can create a moon surface for your Space Nine to explore. Better yet, your Space Nine Robot can dance and you control it. Play some music and watch it go. There are many steps in the assembly process. Learn how the different gears mesh and are driven by a motor. You will also get to build other robots working in small groups. Build a Sumo wrestler, have tug-of-war events, and make these robots do certain tasks for you. Robots in this portion of the workshop are not taken home. Be part of robot technology and have fun investigating the future effects it will have on our lives! Sciensational Workshop - Electronic Lab Workshop Monday-Friday, July 11 - July 15, 2016; 2:00PM-5:00PM Boys and Girls entering grades 2nd-6th ( School Year) are welcome to sign up for Sciensational Electronic Lab Workshop! It is not just about building. You will learn what direct current is and which materials conduct electricity. Learn what happens when you place batteries in series. Learn what resistors and capacitors do and so much more. Better yet, make your own battery. Make a mind reading game, a musical doorbell, and a lie detector, control electronic currents by the clap of your hands, and still more than that. Yes it is Sciensational Workshop's way of Science. Fun, hands on and educational.
