3 In 2017 we are changing the format of the Deb Tucker classes. Instead of a year-long Block Of The Month project, we will be offering Deb Tucker Workshops. There will be a different Workshop most months with projects that can be finished in one class, however, some Workshops will be a series of two or three classes. All workshops will be taught by Jackie DeVall, certified Deb Tucker instructor. BREAD AND BUTTER TABLE RUNNER One of Deb s most popular patterns, and using only one tool the Tucker Trimmer 1 this table runner can be completed in one class. In this Workshop, you will make the runner and practice making other units with the Tucker Trimmer that aren t included with the runner pattern. This pattern is perfect for those new to Deb s tools, or a really quick and easy project for those more experienced with the tools. Required: Tucker Trimmer 1, Bread and Butter runner pattern. If you ve tried this before, you ve probably found that it can be a challenge to get the units just right. With Deb s tools, perfection is easy! Required: Diamond Rects, Square Squared. The star block in this quilt looks complicated but it is so easy!!! The quilt finishes at 32 x 42, but can be changed with the size of your borders. Makes a great table topper, too. 5 Sergers SERGER BASICS Do you have a new serger that you need to get to know or one that s been living in the closet for longer than you care to admit? In this class learn to operate a serger and how to use the three basic serger stitches. All serger brands are welcome! Each month we ll have a Customer Co-Host sponsor our project and guide us through the stitching. Suggested projects could include household items such as napkins & towels, gifts such as zippered bags and phone charging stations...anything we can finish in a couple of hours! That seems to be a popular project! This time, we will have an all new theme for the design of the cup so it will definitely be something new in your cupboard. Monday, March pm ADVANCED CLASS This quarter s Advanced Class will feature Sketch Pens. If you haven t tried this yet, you ll really love it. Again, the project will be different from previous Sketch Pen classes so come and enjoy the fun. As before, the Advanced class is limited in number and is currently full.
