6 Country Financial Tiffany Cole Make it Monmouth, Shop Local The banner is being hosted by Country Financial this month. We appreciate their support. The Monmouth Rotary Club is set to celebrate their centennial on Sept. 15, and to commemorate it they wanted to complete a project that would give back to the city. With donations from the Pattee Foundation and Monmouth Park District, Rotary Club and a pair of corporate gifts the Splash pad came to fruition for our community. We now have a splash pad with Ralph the Rooster, Bacon Bits, (and) the cow s name is Bovine. said Mark Gladfelter. There were a number of key contractors that helped out with the splash pad, including Advanced Plumbing; Leary Construction, which helped with concrete and brick moving; Blackman Electric; and Kitch s Land Improvement, which did excavation work. Water Odyssey, a Texas-based firm with an office in Chicago, completed the design. Eliza Williams opened her new beauty supply store on July 12th at 109 North Main Street in Monmouth, IL She carries, wigs, weaves, hair products, and hair accessories. Hours are Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm & Saturdays 10am to 5pm August 2018 MACC 89 Public Square Monmouth, Illinois (309) Page 7
