1 2017 March Newsletter Triform Happy To Welcome New Board Members Larry Ravitz Larry is a thirdgeneration builder and currently operates 240 apartments in the DC metro area. Born in Detroit, he grew up in Oak Park and attended University of Michigan for two years before pursuing a career in building. He hopes to provide Camphill Triform with guidance in the operation and upkeep of its buildings. He has been married to Marika Partridge for 29 years. They have three children: Cheney, who lives at Triform, Xorissa and Irene. Larry has studied and worked as a street portrait painter and jazz musician, but that's another story... Claudio Pannunzio President & Founder, i-impact Group, Inc. Mr. Pannunzio has more than fifteen years of experience in providing strategic marketing communications, media relations, social media and leadership positioning counsel to wealth and asset managers, mutual & hedge funds, broker/dealers, insurance companies, industry associations and other premier financial and non-financial institutions.

He also possesses 20+ years of experience working in the global financial services industry, as portfolio manager, currency and fixed income trader and developer of institutional investment products.

In that capacity, he writes a monthly blog, contributes articles and conducts Webinars on practice management topics.

Claudio is the PR Communications and Social Media Expert for the Financial Planning Association's Practice Management Center. In that capacity, he writes a monthly blog, contributes articles and conducts Webinars on practice management topics. He is also a Senior Consultant and Trainer with Copenhagen, Denmark-based The Potential Project-the world's leading organization providing customized, organizational effectiveness and excellence programs based on mindfulness to premier global organizations. Mr. Pannunzio is a member of the Advisory Board of Institute for Innovation Development. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Camphill Foundation. Maple Syrup Making in 2017: Sweet Times! Etienne and the garden crew supported by the Orenda house and Christofferus house kitchens turned sap into syrup! How does this magical process take place? Well, after February break when the days were above freezing and the nights are cold the sap rose in the trees and the crew went from tree to tree, totaling 30 trees, placing the pegs and blue buckets and waited, checking on them and collecting the sap from time to time. There was a spell of very cold weather that halted the process but the season continued until early

April. During the two months, sap was collected in big pots and boiled, carefully watched and then strained and stored in bottles of beautiful, delicious syrup- all made by nature.

Columbia Land Conservancy Pancake Breakfast Despite a three foot snowfall earlier in the week, Triform hosted this annual CLC event at the Phoenix Center on March 18th.

It's a very popular activity for coworkers and students alike as the archetypical harvesting from nature is a harbinger of spring and a very edible treat to look forward to as well! The morning was full of good food and conversation as one way to thank their members and volunteers. Always a special treat, the Triform Bell Choir performed for the crowd. with special needs and their families to experience a lifesharing community that offers day and residential programs for students transitioning out of school.

Triform's 15th Annual Benefit Concert is on Friday, June 16, We are so excited to welcome John Hall on stage for our 2017 benefit concert! Best known as the founder of the band Orleans, with hits including "Still The One," and "Dance With Me," John cowrote Janis Joplin's "Half Moon," Steve Wariner's #1 country hit "You Can Dream of Me," and also "Power," which became the theme of the NO NUKES concerts in the 1970s. John has collaborated in the studio and on the stage with Little Feat, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Graham Nash, Chet Atkins and Carly Simon.
