We invite you to channel your inner-superhero as you step back into the days of Adam West and Gotham City at A Night to Marvel: Celebrating the Superheroes of Health Care. Join us, as we honor the healthcare providers and patients at the area s leading medical center, Tampa General Hospital. Every sponsorship and ticket purchased for this event will have an impact on children in Tampa Bay. This year, all funds raised from A Night to Marvel will benefit the Tampa General Hospital Children s Medical Center. A Night to Marvel will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Tampa Convention Center. Unlike years past, this year s gala will feature a seated dinner and live auction. For outfit ideas, visit Entertainment The Bay Kings Band TGH s Pediatric Emergency & Trauma Center is the first and only program in Florida to achieve verification from the American College of Surgeons (ACS) for the quality of its trauma care. TGH is a member of the Children s Oncology Group (COG), a National Cancer Institute-supported clinical trials group and the world s largest organization devoted exclusively to pediatric cancer research. Qualifying centers must meet strict criteria to become a member of the COG. TGH has a Pediatric Day Hospital dedicated to pediatric care (newborn through 21 years of age). The fullservice Day Hospital provides patients with a child-friendly environment for procedures or radiology studies that require sedation. The Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program is one of just five in Florida, and is the only one in West Central Florida. The program is one of the busiest in the state.. TGH is just one of three Florida Department of Health-designed pediatric brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation centers in the state.
