This year, in addition to the poker, folks can also play blackjack. The big event will take place on Friday, January 26 th (snow date 2/2/18) at the HCA gym. Doors, adjacent to the gym on 7 th Street, will open at 6:30PM. The initial buy-ins purchased in advance will be $100 for poker (with a $1,000 chip incentive) and $40 for blackjack. Buy-ins for tournament tickets at the door will be $125 for poker, $50 for blackjack. The buy-in includes hors devours, a buffet dinner and beer, wine and soda all evening long. There will be an instructional table for beginner players before tournament play begins. Re-buys will be available for Poker and blackjack as the evening progresses and the blackjack tables will be open all evening for those who exit the poker tournament early or are not poker players. We will also welcome non-players to partake in food, drink and camaraderie to attend as spectators for $25 ($30 at the door) The prizes for the evening are also very exciting. The players at the final table of the poker tournament will all be winners. The top three players at the table will win Visa Cash Cards valued at $1,500, $1,000 and $500 respectively. The other winners at the table will win restaurant gift cards. The winners of each round of blackjack will receive a $25 Visa Cash Card and a chance to win the grand prize, a flat screen TV. The grand prize drawing will take place at the end of the evening. 50/50 raffle (tickets available at the event ) will also be part of the fun. The drawing for the winning 50 /50 ticket will also occur at the end of the evening and attendance is not required to win. If you are so inclined and choose not to take part in the games of chance, we encourage you to participate as a sponsor, volunteer and/or spectator. Everyone is welcome. Event Format: No limit elimination format Doors open at 6:30pm Registration period will be 6:30pm=>8pm Complimentary poker instructional table will be available from 7pm=>8pm Play starts promptly at 8pm 2. Buy In Registrations received before 1/26/18: $100 for $11,000 in chips Registrations received at the door of the event: $125 for $10,000 in chips 3. Re-Buys A maximum of three re-buys per person is permitted with no regard to chip count Re-buys will be available only in the first hour and twenty minutes of play and when a player s chip count is 20K or less B. BLACK JACK Unlimited rounds of tournament style Your initial buy-in to the event gives you 2 free rounds Every player starts with the same amount of chips for each round (Blackjack shoe) Each subsequent rebuy for a round of blackjack will be $25 The winner of each round will have the largest amount of chips at the end of the round The winner of each round will win a $25 visa cash card and one entry ticket to win the grand prize, a flat screen TV, which will be drawn at the end of the evening Players have the opportunity to play/win multiple times 4. Blinds Opens at $50/$100 Increases every 20 minutes Posted by dealer if player isn t in his/her seat 5.
