2 TECHNICAL RIDER Sound Equipment Specifications The organizer shall provide professional-standard sound equipment to the following specifications: 1. All equipment should be delivered to the concert venue prior to the sound-check and be set up in line with the stage plan; everything should be connected according to the switching table and tested. The sound equipment and the venue s acoustics systems (portals) should generate a signal within the Hz frequency range and ensure a sound mixing console acoustic pressure of at least 115 db. A 20kWt capacity for an 1000-strong audience. Sound reproduction equipment should be from well-known manufacturers such as Turbosound, Meyer Sound, NEXO, Dynacord, EV, VDOSC, EAW, and JBL etc. NOTE: acoustics systems and sound equipment should be in a line along with the vocalists, or even further away, and not directly behind the performers. 2. MONITORING SYSTEMS 6x free monitoring lines on stage as per the stage plan (please see below. 3x personal earpieces. The drummer has an XLR for his console (5 aux) and Drum Shield (for small venues). Monitors for the base and the keyboard players 15 min. 400W. Each monitor line should be equipped with its own 1/3 octave equaliser (Klark Teknik, Drawmer, BSS,dbx). The equalisers should be near the sound consoles and should be directly accessible by the sound engineer. Some monitors can be replaced by the In-ear system, depending on the dimensions of the venue. This should be by prior agreement with the group. The group always carry their In-ear earpieces (3 systems). They require 6 AA batteries and 1 chrome battery. 3. F.O.H: The sound mixing console features at least 25 channels + 10 aux. by standard well-known manufacturers (Degidesign, Midas, Yamaha, Soundcraft, A&H). When the digital sound mixing console is in operation, it is best to control the access point using an ipad. Substituting the agreed console is not advisable. The sound console should be positioned facing the stage.

3 We do not work with the following sound consoles: Mackie, Behringer, or Alto. 5 x gate channels Klark Teknik, Drawmer, dbx, BSS. 7 x compression channels Klark Teknik, Drawmer, dbx, BSS. 1 x Yamaha SPX-2000/990, Lexicon PCM70/80/90 (or a high-quality equivalent). 1 x Lexicon PCM70/80/90 (or a high-quality equivalent). 1 x TC D2/TC M2000/3000 (or a high-quality equivalent). Sound check 1.5 hours is required to carry out the sound check (tuning-out the group s concert sound). The assistance of the venue staff will be required and the sound equipment will be fully set up in readiness for the group s performance. Please could the organiser s technical staff attend the sound check to erase ant technical issues that may arise. The sound check should be agreed in advance with the group s Director. Safety and security The organiser assumes responsibility for the safety and security of the group, their wardrobe, the instruments and the group s equipment while the group are at the event. The organiser must also ensure the protection of the equipment against any possible overload by installing limiters, controllers, a continuous power supply and ensuring that other such devices are available. Technical supervision while the equipment is in operation during the sound check and the group s performance should also be provided. The performers do not assume any responsibility for the safety and integrity of the amplifiers, speakers and monitors and other such equipment and apparatus. The stage The organiser shall provide security (personally, or by using company staff/an agency, or private security company etc) at the stage during the group s performance to avoid any unauthorised access to the stage area by guests and individuals at the event. Only personnel and staff directly involved in the concert can be on or near the stage before and after the concert. КIt is strictly forbidden to use a smoke machine during the group s performance and sound check without prior agreement with the group s technical director.

8 DOMESTICS (PRACTICALITIES) RIDER Parking 5 parking places to be provided for the group s vehicles. Dressing room The dressing room should be heated (in line with sanitary standards for residential premises and the temperature should not be lower than 18/20 C); the room should have a separate bathroom facility and working electrical points. The room should also be lockable (the group s Director will retain the dressing room key during the event). Should there be only one common dressing room available at the event, the organiser should ensure that a designated space for the group The Fifth Element is screened off. 9 Food to be provided at the event Please note: There are 9 group members: 7 performers + 1 sound engineer + 2 backing vockals+ 1 administrator. Only beef and chicken please. Sandwiches/rolls/salads, sufficient to feed 11. A hot meal (lunch), for 11. Biscuits/chocolate/sweets + cream and sugar for tea. Should the group be providing sound or lighting equipment for the event, then please provide sufficient food for 1 extra person! Fast food items and pizza may only be provided following prior agreement with the group. Drinks 20 bottles of still mineral water (at room temp.) Water for the kettle, if no cooler provided Unlimited tea and coffee!

10 ON TOUR RIDER WHEN STAGING A CONCERT IN A ANOTHER CITY Transport The organiser shall pay for and provide the group s director with the required plane/train tickets (return). Flights This shall only be provided by Aeroflot and SkyTeam member airlines ( Tickets required for the group members + one additional seat for the keyboard. The organiser shall front the additional transportation costs incurred, should the group be unable to bring their guitars on board. Train travel The client shall arrange for 3 compartments and provide the group s director with 12 tickets for travelling. Additional provision should be made to accommodate instruments, equipment and personal effects during the trip. Local transport The client shall provide local transport for the group, providing a comfortable mini-bus for people. The mini-bus is to be at the group s disposal for the entire duration of their stay at the host venue. Hotels The organiser shall provide and arrange accommodation for the group in a hotel (at least 4 stars): 9 fully equipped single rooms (WC, shower/bath, TV).

11 Food The client shall provide the group with 3 hot meals a day; 9 people are to be catered for (or daily expenses are to be provided at RUR 2,500/day per person / /$ 100 when abroad) + food to be provided at the event.
