1 Open Tender/Competitive Bidding (Hardwa) TERMS & CONDITIONS This open tender/bidding competitive bid has been advertised through the Kuensel media under its letter no. WCCL3-OPR dated 31 st October, 2015 and is subject to the given below Terms and Conditions. The quid product specifications/descriptions and the definitions set out in the given terms and conditions a attached for better clarity and understanding; 1. The Bid needs to be submitted on or befo 23 rd November, 2015, between 9 am to 12 noon to the Procuring Agency Office after which will be opened at 2.30 pm on the same day. 2. The Bidder s rate must be quoted for delivery at CIF Wood Craft Center Ltd. (WCCL) Langjophaka, Bhutan. The rate quoted should be valid for a period of one (1) year from the day of opening tender and must be inclusive of fight insurances, charges, levies and taxes. 3. A quality will be displayed by the Procuring Agency during the time of taking the tender forms. The material that is aged upon needs to conform strictly to the specification and as per the set out by the Procuring Agency. 4. The Procuring Agency serves the right to alter the supply quantity with the prior approval of the Supplier. 5. No extension of supply date shall be entertained without the written consent to that effect. 6. The Bid shall be submitted along with an EMD of Nu. 10,000/- (ten thousand) only in the form of Demand Draft/Cash Warrant drawn in favor of Wood craft Cent Ltd. Thimphu, and the same shall be turned on finalization of the Bids. 7. The Successful bidder must deposit security money of Nu 50,000 (fifty thousand) only in the form of Demand Draft/Cash warrant or Bank Guarantee in favor of the Wood Craft Cent Ltd. Thimphu. This Security deposit shall be tained for a period of one (1) year, which shall not bear intest. In case of failu to supply the materials as per the pfixed specifications/, the contract shall be terminated by forfeiting the Security deposit and the second lowest bidder will be asked to supply the goods at his quoted rate. The Supply of material need to be completed within 25 days from the date of issue of the Supply order; Failing to supply the goods within the stipulated time, a penalty of 0.1% per day shall be deducted from the bill to the maximum of 10% of the total bill value. 9. At any given point of time, the Procuring Agency serves the right to ject the inferior quality of material at the Supplier s cost. The jected materials to be lifted by the suppliers within one week s time, after expiring of the above period, any damage or loss of the materials from the pmises of WCCL, the Procuring Agency shall not be sponsible. 10. The Procuring Agency i.e. WCCL serves the right to ject any or all the bids without assigning any ason theof. 11. The Procuring agency shall communicate the damages/shortages, if any. The Supplier shall be sponsible to place/ctify the damages/shortages within two weeks to full satisfaction of the Procuring agency. 12. The Payment shall be made within one month by the Procuring Agency from the date of ceipt of material if no damages/shortages occur. 13. The Bank charges for pparation of TT/RTGS transfers shall be borne by the Supplier. 14. The Procuring agency and the Supplier shall make every effort to solve mutually any disagement or disputes in connection with the contract/supply. 15. If the Procuring agency and the Supplier a unable to solve the contract dispute mutually and amicably, the same will be ferd to a Court of law whe the Court decision will be final and binding to both.
