Seems like a great time to sew! BERNINA, of course has been keeping busy lately with new products already in the store and more on the way. Following suit with the 7 and 5 Series machines, our newly designed 4 series machines offer the features BERNINA machines are known for. All 4 series machines feature legendary stitch quality with the BERNINA Hook, a spacious 7 inches to the right of the needle, an easy-to-use color touch screen, plus all of the stitches and functions quilters and crafters love! The new Bernina 480 is on the truck right now! The new Bernina 475QE will arrive November/December, and the new Bernina 435 early in With new products, of course, we need to close out the older models. You will find great deals on the BERNINA 530, 350, and B570 (original), as these are all on closeout until they are gone. Meanwhile, Horn Sewing Furniture co. has been shuffling their models and (GASP) colors too! In store we have several of their new models, completely redesigned and big enough for any of the new XXL machines on the market. Plus they have come out with a very pretty wood grain in Grey! Wow! Modern color to go with the latest decorating trends! Come and see it! Sewing has a tradition of being a social activity, and we do our part with classes and clubs informing you of the latest techniques and trends in crafts, embroidery, and sewing, all with an eye towards having fun. Check out the class list. Our teachers are the best and we guarantee a good time. We'll even set up a machine for you to make it easier to attend, if you'd like! It was 1968 when my Mom and Dad opened their first store, Ramsey Fabrics, in Edmond, starting a tradition of customer service and great products. 50 years on and we are into our 3rd generation, I'm very proud to have been a part of it. 2 Embroidery Club meets at 10am, 2pm, and 6pm September 25 October 23 November 27 Clubs are a great way to get tips, tricks, and inspiration at Bernina of Oklahoma City. All club meetings are free. We have a CD of the presentation with project instructions that is available for $10. We start every meeting off by showing new products and books. Then, we have a show and tell time. If you have a show and tell, you do not have to pay for the instructional CD. Also, be sure to enter your name in the fish bowl for door prizes! All attendees get one entry. For each show and tell you br ing, put your name into the bowl again! You ll also get a 20% discount on all notions at club. You know how wovens need ease and often that looks baggy (in today s terms of fitting don t get me started on that!), and yet not all of us look good or even want to wear leggings well the ponte pant is the perfect solution. The go-to pattern for this is StyleArc Barb Pant. I have never seen a pant out of the envelope fit so well as this pant does hence the one-day class. It will need a little tweaking which we will do in class, and techniques related to ponte knit, for stitching and working with the fabric. Thurs, Oct 25 10:00 4:00 This super cute phone holder and wallet combo is really all you ever need to carry around! You can use your phone through the vinyl on the outside and see your screen clearly. They make GREAT gifts too! Come and learn from the pattern designer herself! Mannequin (Dress Form) Claire Kennedy Mon & Tues, Oct :00 4:00 12 hrs $120 Students fit the mannequin to their shape warts and all. This way you will take home a very close duplicate of your body. The class finishes with Claire instruction on how to use the mannequin and lessons on fitting your particular body style. This is a lot of instruction for the class. You will use a Uniquely You dress form with cover, that will need to be acquired before the class. Phone Pocket Martha Sheriff Thurs, Oct 4 10:00 3:00 5 hrs $40 It s a great way to carry your phone and a few essentials when you don t have a pocket. It has been extremely handy. I ve been using mine for about a week now and I m loving it. I m sure you will too. It will have two sizes, one for normal and the other for jumbo sized phones. You can use your touch screen through the vinyl so you don't have to remove your phone from the pocket to check it!
