Thank-yu letters and s frm parents: Hi. I'm writing this because myself & my fiancée recently lst ur baby by Zealand. We were cared fr by Neville Hall Hspital in Abergavenny, Suth Wales. We were given a memry bx & varius ther items t remember ur precius little by. We nticed the "Cuddles " tag n sme f the items. We fund the items & memry bx a massive cmfrt fr us. Dear Sir r Madam, We recently experienced a miscarriage at St. Thmas hspital in Lndn. It was very cmfrting fr us that the baby was dressed in knitwear frm Cuddles after she was brn. Thanks and keep up yur excellent wrk. T each and every member f the team, I wanted t take this pprtunity thank yu fr yur beautiful wrk. I lst my baby last July at 4 and half mnths very unexpectedly. I had t g thrugh and deliver my tiny baby and I was abslutely devastated. The hspital gave me a memry bx and in it was a beautiful yellw blanket, cardigan, hat and bties and varius ther things. When I am smetimes sad, r think abut what happened, I take ut my bx and lk at everything in it. It is mthers day tday and I am feeling very sad. But at the same time yu have given me smething very special t remind me f my little baby and fr that I am very grateful t all f yu. Many, many thanks. Hi, my name is Sphie and I am an angel parent. Firstly I wuld like t thank yu and yur rganisatin fr my beautiful blanket that I received when my sn was brn sleeping. Knwing that smene, smewhere, used their wn time and effrt int making smething s persnal fr a stranger, makes it even mre special. Thank yu again. Me and my partner have recently just lst ur little girl as she was brn after nly 20wks,as it was an awful time fr us bth yur dnatin did make difference xxx als we named her angel after we seen the little angel n her gwn yu made All ur lve Hi, I have received tw f yur knitted dresses fr my twin daughters that were 19+ gestatin frm ur lcal hspital when they sadly passed away. Attached t the dresses/cards were sme small angel trinkets. Thank yu, I think it's brilliant what yu are ding and have dne and was a great cmfrt t my partner and me. We have the blankets in the memry bx, but due t nt having many keepsakes we fund the trinkets meant a lt and I hpe t have them attached t my bridal flwers next year.

I can't tell yu hw amazed peple are when they knw that we can dress their little baby in such beautiful utfits that have bviusly been made with such lve. Thank yu very much. We s appreciate the clthing items. We care fr wmen in ur delivery suite frm 13 weeks nwards wh have miscarried r are lsing their babies. The clthes are s appreciated by s many families. I lve t be able t give them a chice then they feel they are ding smething themselves. Please pass n my gratitude t all the busy knitters wh make such a difference and put s much care int their wrk. Thank yu s much fr the parcel that I received n Friday, all perfect thank yu. Thank yu fr the 3 x tiny teds. They are beautiful. We really appreciate all the hard wrk and lve yu put int making them. The blankets and sleeping bags are such a help, with making the prcess f presenting babies t their families that little bit less clinical and scary. We ffer the blankets t keep. Als, fr the staff wh prepare the babies, its much mre cmfrting t be able t present them nicely. I wuld like t thank yu fr the pairs f identical tiny ted s, they are perfect, just what we wanted. I was wndering wuld it be pssible fr yu t als include a cuple f triple identical tiny teds, as we d get a few twin lsses, and I think it wuld be nice fr mum t have an identical teddy t each f her babies. Thank yu again fr the tiny teds, they are beautiful. We really lve all the special clthes yur teams especially the small cttn nightdresses fr ur little babes.. Please pass n ut thanks and thse f the wmen we care fr in these circumstances. It helps t demnstrate we care and make each babe an individual. Items received in the first six mnths f 2015: In rder t streamline the unpacking prcess here at Cuddles Central and free up mre time t srt, decrate and stre items I have stpped cunting all the different items that are sent in. This means that there is nw n need fr yu t list the number f items in the parcels yu send. Instead, I will

4 cncentrate n letting yu all knw, via ur Yah grup and ur newsletters, which items we are mst in need f. I hpe yu will all agree that it is the wnderful quality f the clthing and blankets we supply that matters mst, rather than the exact number that we make. Ideas fr different stitch patterns n gwn skirts, sleep-suits, sleeping bags and blankets: By adjusting the number f stitches yu have it is pssible t create sme lvely simple textures n the items yu knit. It is usually a gd idea t knit brders in garter stitch r mss stitch t prevent yur knitting frm rlling inwards. With an dd number f stitches: Rw 1: Knit, Rw 2: Purl, Rw 3: Knit, Rw 4: (p1, k1) repeat acrss the rw until the last stitch, p1. Granite stitch, using an even number f stitches: Rw 1: Knit, Rw 2: (k2tg), repeat all alng the rw, Rw 3: Inc. in each stitch, by knitting int the frnt and back f each stitch, all alng the rw, Rw 4: Purl With an even number f stitches: Rw 1: Knit Rw 2: Knit Rw 3: (k1, p1) repeat alng the rw Rw 4: (k1, p1) repeat alng the rw With a multiple f 4 stitches: Rw 1: (k2, p2) repeat alng the rw Rw 2: (k2, p2) repeat alng the rw Rw 3: Knit Rw 4: Knit With an even number f stitches: Rw 1: (k1, p1) repeat alng the rw Rw 2: (k1, p1) repeat alng the rw Rw 3: Knit Rw 4: Knit

5 Hints and Tips that help at Cuddles Central: Please use pstal bags r bxes rather than wrapping yur precius knitting in brwn paper as the brwn paper parcels ften arrive ripped. Strng carrier bags, turned inside-ut, als make gd packaging if yu cannt find any f the purpse-made pstal bags. Please dn t send things via Parcel Frce, r a curier, t the PO Bx address as they can t be delivered t a PO Bx. If yu wish t use Parcel Frce, r a different curier, then please cntact me at the abve address, r by , t request my hme address. Enclsing a nte in yur parcel with yur name, pstal and addresses wuld be enrmusly helpful and save me lts f time when I m acknwledging receipt f parcels and sending thank-yu ntes and s. Please nly use white, cream r pale, pastel clurs f wl. The hspitals d nt request bright r darkly clured clthing r blankets. Please cnsider enclsing a 2 nd class stamp if yu wuld like me t write t cnfirm the safe arrival f yur parcel. I will acknwledgements t all nline members. The items we are mst in need f are sleeping bags in white/cream/yellw, sleep-suits, tiny teds (3 tall r smaller), angel s capes, angel s pckets (6-7 measured alng ne f the straight sides) and white, cream, pale yellw and pale green blankets (18-24 square r bigger). Items we dn t really need include cardigans, bties and mittens. Sme Sad News I have recently been infrmed, by ne f her relatives, that Gillian Binns, ne f ur pstal members, sadly passed away in June. She lved supprting Cuddles and I have passed n the cndlences f ur entire grup t her family. They very kindly sent us a big parcel f the last items she made and I have thanked them fr finding the time t hnur Gillian s wishes t supprt Cuddles. A Big Thank-yu fr all Yur Supprt Thank-yu all s much fr yur cntinued supprt and dedicatin t Cuddles. Each ne f yu is ding a wnderful thing by helping bereaved parents t build precius memries f their little baby being cherished and cared fr. N matter hw little r hw large the number f items yu send, yu are all playing a vital part and shwing huge amunts f care fr peple yu ll almst certainly never meet.
