1 CLASS POLICIES Once registered, there are no refunds for cancellations. We do understand life happens. Should you need to cancel, we will do our best to reschedule classes to accommodate schedules. All classes must have a minimum of two registrants to go forward. If a class does not make 48 hours prior to the scheduled time, we will cancel and reschedule the class. If we cannot accommodate a reschedule within 6 months of registration, a store credit will be issued. We are respectful of everyone s time. All classes will begin and end promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals disrupt class, so please be prompt. We are all busy people, and our class schedule is built with several classes back to back in the same space. Please be cognizant of your class times. PRIVATE LESSONS Sometimes our customers just need help that isn t scheduled on our class calendar. If that s the case with you, please call us. We can find a mutually beneficial time in half hour increments. Provide us the problem & the pattern, and we will have you off & stitching in no time (757)

2 Beginning Knitting If you ve wanted to learn how to knit, and you think you would try the patience of Job, just come on over for our beginner knitting class. Our 1 session class will teach you how to knit. You can BYON (bring your own needles) and BYOY (bring your own yarn) or purchase your materials at The Flying Needles for 10% off after you have registered. This class is held every other Wednesday & Saturday mornings from 11 am to 12 pm, and you can take as many sessions as you want! Each class is limited to 4 people. 8 Blocking Basics Sept. 6, Thursday Aug. 14, Tuesday Oct. 2, Tuesday You ve knitted your shawl or scarf, and your project looks funny after you have bound off. You need to now BLOCK your final project! Those gorgeous knit stitches aren t going to come out perfect. Once finished, you have to tell those stitches where and how to sit. Yarnista & Owner Susan Dickerson will lead this 1 session blocking basics held: 10 am to 12 pm Tuesday, Aug to 5 pm Thursday, Sept am to 12 pm Tuesday, Oct. 2 Susan will run you through different yarns, how each performs with blocking and with samples of before and after blocked items. She will talk about steam blocking, spray blocking, how to block acrylic, use of lace wires & T pins. The class will block one item during the class. Each class is limited to 8 people. This 1 session class will introduce you to the basics of Ravelry and searching for patterns.
