1 April 2018 Newsletter Tel: News We have now settled in to our new premises in The Beresford Centre. New deliveries are arriving as we are gradually restocking. So far we have had Thread Magic, a replacement for Thread Heaven, glass pearl rondelles, graduated colour glass pearl strings, new charms, magnetic clasps, bobbin boxes for storing your Nymo reels, storage stacker boxes (although these are going fast), and more. Holly has returned from her trip to the Czech Republic with even more beads which now need sorting and bagging! These include new Paisley Duo beads, Wheels, Druk beads, and beautiful Table Cut glass beads! Classes using some of these beads will come in the next few months. Class news During March we beaded bangles, tassels, necklaces and we even tried our hands at crocheting with beads, some more successfully than others! At the end of March we introduced Henrietta, our little chick. The pattern for her is now available to buy from our website, alongside the other Little Critters; Hector, Frederick and Bailey. In April, we are happy to welcome back Emma Brinton, who will be teaching her embroidered hedgehog (other creatures may be available by the time the class comes around!). Look out for this class on Saturday 14 th April. Spaces are filling fast! We are also excited to welcome Heather Robertson, of Frosty Feather Fae, who will be doing two Fantasy Fimo Polyclay classes with us on Saturday 26 th May, and the other on Saturday 2 nd June. Although each day will be a class in its own right, beaders will have the option of returning on the second class to add more embellishment to their creations if desired. Heather will be bringing a selection of Polyclay that you can purchase from her on the day. We will also have a small supply in.

Bead and Banter This is a friendly group meeting on the last Wednesday of every month, commencing at normal shop closing, where you can bring your work along, bead and chat to like-minded enthusiasts.

Tea or coffee is provided, and occasionally the odd cake or biscuit. There is a 2 fee for the evening. The dates for the next Bead and Banters are: Wednesday 25 th April 6-9pm Wednesday 30 th May 6-9pm Saturday morning classes We are leaving Saturday mornings free (except on full day courses) should anyone want to come in and give one of our beginner techniques a try (including Peyote Stitch, Brick stitch, St. Petersburg stitch, Chevron chain, Macramé and more). These classes would take place at pm at a cost of 12 plus beads. If you would like to give something a try then call us ( or ) and we can sort out a Saturday morning to suit you. Please leave a contact number with Sue, Holly or Jackie when booking classes. If there is a class you wish to attend, but your dates don t match with ours, it is always worth calling to see if we have vacancies on a day that you can manage. Also look out for our Bring out Your Dead days where you can bring along unfinished projects or projects where you may be a little stuck and need a bit of help. 7 Class deposits are 10 for every class booked. If for any reason you have to cancel, please notify us within 7 days of the class date so that we may transfer your deposit to a future class, or refund it. Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of your deposit. Please note all classes are subject to change should we have insufficient uptake, these changes will be published on our Facebook page.
