If you are unable to attend, you may receive written instructions or send someone in your place. Instructors may cancel the class if less than 3 students register (5 for boot camp). Learn the basic stitch and we'll talk about some variations to try. You'll make loads of these! April 5 Carolyn Malloy Kit 40 Beginning Bead Weaving The best place to start bead weaving. April 10 Flower Vine Create a colorful vine with leaves and then add the flowers. April 12 Making The Point Make a style point with this necklace that blends peyote triangles, wooden or acrylic donuts, and pearls. March 10-1: Erin Caldwell Kit Spring Sparkles This bracelet is a 3-drop Turkish bead crochet that requires experience with crocheting. Bright, airy colored beads evokes the freshness of a Spring day. March 12 Marcia Beierle Spring Flowers Two round kumihimo braids, one with four color flowers, other with glass leaves and butterflies joined with and cone in bracelet. March 17-3:00 Jasna Arezina-Wilson 40 Bohemian Bead Crochet Bring forth your inner flower child as you learn to crochet with beads. Experience with crochet is helpful, but not required. 5 Beginning Kumihimo Learn to use the Kumihimo Disc to create an 8-strand braided necklace focal. Ask for instructions. May 22 Debby Lewis FUSED GLASS Fused Glass Windchimes Summer is coming! Enjoy the melodious tinkling of your very own chimes! Prior fused glass experience is not necessary, but will be helpful. This will be a two-part class. In the first session, participants will create the top portion to which the glass chimes will be attached as well as the the individual chimes which will be glued to connectors. These individual pieces will then be fused and brought to the second class for construction into wind chimes. Students will learn the difference between opalescent and translucent glass and how that affects the final outcome of the project. In addition, glass cutting will be demonstrated. Samples will be provided to illustrate the differences. If time allows, more than one set of chimes may be created. April 17 And Tuesday, April 24 Denise Novak Materials provided by instructor and included in class fee 75 POLYMER CLAY Coral Reef Beginner s will love diving in and learning the art of polymer clay while creating this mesmerizing pendant! April 9 Bonnie Elliott Kit Jen s Pind Linkage A bit of a brain teaser, but fun & easy once it clicks! 3 Wednesday, May 2 WIRE WORKING Wired to the Egg-streme! Create bright colorful Easter Eggs using artistic wire and a variety of beads. March 20 Susan Campbell Kit 5

6 Wire Weave Pendant Use wire to create this cool geometric pendant. Add a gemstone to keep you down-to-earth, or a crystal that sparkles like the stars! 3 Tuesday, April 3 Susan Campbell Kit 45 Etched Brass Cuff or Pendant Learn the ferric chloride etching technique and create a cool brass cuff or pendant. Make a tiara May 3 Tree of Life This tree of life is budding with gemstones! Come make one you can wear! May 10 Susan Campbell Kit 25 Love Letters Try your hand at turning wire into a written message! 2 Wednesday, May 16 Susan Campbell Kit 25 Bird of Paradise Can t get enough of wire?! Learn some basic filigree shapes and bind them together for a yard ornament or windchime focal. 2 Monday, May 21 Egyptian Coil Practice coiling and make this amazing bracelet that will make you feel all Cleopatra-like! 2 Tuesday, May 29 Make N Takes Mark these dates on your calendar!! March 3rd & 17th April 7th & 21st May 5th & 19th On these Saturdays, we ll have a Make N Take (MNT). The projects will be posted on our website and in the newsletter prior to the MNT day. 6
