2 INSTRUMENTATION DIVISION HEAD AT BROOKHAVEN NATIONAL LABORATORY (BNL) Nucear Physics Senior Facuty Position BNL seeks a distinguished scientist to head a Division charged with deveoping state-of-the-art instrumentation for the diverse experimenta research programs at BNL. The Division s current expertise spans semiconductor, gas and nobe iquid detectors, ow-noise microeectronics, asers and optica metroogy, and micro/ nano-fabrication. Department of Physics and Astronomy The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Texas A&M University is seeking a highy accompished experimenta nucear physicist to join the department under the auspices of the newy estabished Nucear Soutions Institute. This new institute combines basic and appied nucear science with nucear security technoogy and poicy; it aready encompasses a broad spectrum of facuty members drawn from across the university. The Division currenty comprises 42 FTE, incuding 14 Ph.D. scientists and 12 engineers, with an annua budget around $8M, incuding support from BNL overhead funds.
